Hi Everyone

Will be posting a couple screenshots from the wallet over the next few minutes. One will show the OAUTH panel that activates your Viral Node. The second is the design for statistics page where users will be able to track what's happening in the Viral network - campaigns in various stages, Viral revenues, burning etc.

enjoy!

i don't understand viral ICO strategy
anybody can deposit and withdraw coins during second phase
and place order or sell to buy wall during crowdfound

really? and ppl are investing? good luck

Nobody can deposit because nobody has their coins outside of C-Cex yet.
Nobody can place a sell wall higher than the crowdfunded 7878 satoshi's.
Anybody who is selling at a lower price are selling at a loss because they originally bought at 7878 satoshi's.  Not too sure what the logic is in that, but there you go.

There is no logic. He is either FUDing or an idiot or both.

Why are people selling it between 1 and 0.4 satoshi!!
This will kill the coin and create dump

Let them. More cheap coins for me.

VIRAL - The Official Cryptocurrency of the Moon
So here is an idea to grow VIRAL - Dev Team, especially Adam, approach some of the top internet marketers and get them on board with this tech.  John Chow, Neil Patel, Jeremy Shoemaker and many many more. If just one of these gurus gets involved they could open the world of crypto to many new people and use their influence to garner mass adoption. We, as individuals could approach them, but it would be better coming from the top dogs. You want to see this grow exponentially? Chase these guys down as they would be great to get on board with nodes so they could set up subs to their many many thousands of followers.

You are going to need a sweet little package ie prospectus, promotional video - whiteboard style is most effective. You need these bells and whitles to grab their attention and bring them in.

Imagine tapping into this guy's reach?

Here is his audit score:

Any questions?

But then again, crowdfunders cannot sell before the end of the PO, because they do not have their coins yet.

Only top 10% right? or was that voted on?

Top 10% were given option to supplement wall IF it sells out. No word yet on how many  have committed to doing that.

Crowdfunders actually bought at 6060 sats. So selling between 7878 and 6060 would make a profit

Yeap, that is why there isn't a lot of buying, would be more fair to give the same price... When is ICO finished, i bought for 5 BTC and want to make sure that i can sell them on time Cheesy Jumping from one ICO to another Cheesy

Sorry, I meant the ICO, not crowdfunders.

I guess I need to proof-read my posts here about 5 times over to keep people from pedantically nitpicking everything to death...  Roll Eyes

The quote in the quote above...I was talking about the logic in selling below 7878 after buying at 7878.

I hear Adam say something about porting Viral into a QT wallet plug in, did I hear that right?

Actually that was my idea originally. I am working on it in connection with the bounties announced in the slack chat. it's a way of porting the Viral mechanism onto any existing QT wallet, so while staking from a different wallet you can show as an active viral node. Adam had a similar idea but more browser based. We have been discussing my idea as being more practical for an earlier iteration. if anyone has any thoughts or comments they are welcome.

Interesting idea. I would propose that you make the plug in architecture QT generic but coin specific, and actually run your metrics through each particular coin. That is, for example, a Doge plug-in that allows any doge user to be a node and collect revenue in Doge. Of course the revenue and metrics go in and out of Viral, but that can be strictly under the hood. Many coins have identifiably different user bases and that would be an attractive segmenting method for advertisers.

In addition, one could allow a subnode to recruit a coin community and profit for this effort. For example if I am a Blackcoin dev, i am incentivized to build out and offer the plugin because effectively all Blackcoin users who opt into using the plugin become part of my subnet.  And the effort to do this is decentralized, ie not coming from Viral. So expanding the network this way is very frictionless.

Fair play. Your idea for instigator / node guru for each coin fits right into the idea of Verified. That is, anyone in the network can build out a subnetwork and profit from it. Seems to me the trick is to make the rules / structure of Verified simple enough / generic enough, almost like a Turing machine - so that all kinds of interesting subnetworks - not just those based on crypto, but even on browsers etc. could function inside the Viral network.

If done correctly it could even make the pathways of integration different in different social networks. So that Pinterest sponsored pins could be the lingua franca. And the Viral    network itself would be basically invisible inside of Pinterest.
