We are currently in dialogue with different exchanges, small as big. As it is not our prerogative if we get listed or not, we can't give any exact dates as to when that may happen.

But rest assured, that we are working hard on making Valuto and the coming features(wallets, marketplace etc.) as good as possible. This will make it more and more interesting for the various exchanges to list VLU.

Viva Valuto!

So, it's Saturday (at least here in Europe)... Why not celebrate the coming end-of-week and get a little bounty hunt going...

So here it is, everyone who:

* Download the ALPHA release of ValutoPy wallet for windows here: https://files.fm/f/nbkz9kkn
* Gets it running on their windows machine
* Sends a valid Valuto address generated from said wallet to us(PM please).
* Agree to let us know of any bugs

... Will receive 50 VLU from Devs directly to their address to play around with :-)

Note, reported bugs allready includes:

* Wallet crash at startup if network connection takes longer than 40 ish seconds. (workaround: start wallet again, without restarting machine)
* Wallet crash with no notice on first run, if no internet connection is found.

Software has not been tested on:

* Windows prior to version 8, we will give 80 VLU in bounty. * Edit to not contain incentive for posting(against forum rules)

The bounty is up from now until 3000 VLU has been paid out!

Regards and happy hunting :-)

Half of the blocks go to an unknown pool

Someone strongly wants a coin and does not want competitors

More than 75% hash is unknown... Solo mining maybe?

As you probably know, we are still developing as we speak Smiley

We have now released an Alpha version of the ValutoPy Wallet. Feel free to download the Wallet for yourself and test it out. Right now it runs successfully on different versions of Windows 10.

Link can be found here: https://files.fm/f/nbkz9kkn?share_email_id=a4ba2d

Installation is as follows:

Unzip the file somewhere on your computer
Run the .exe named 'ValutoPyAlpha'.

All feedback is highly appreciated, and we hope you enjoy the first release of the wallet Smiley

NB. Please notice that this is ALPHA software and crashes will occur. Your funds should not be in danger though. If any major problems occur, please contact us directly here on Bitcointalk. 🙂

Thank you dev! Good to know that... Actually I really want to try the wallet but I don't have windows installed atm. Tried to run on wine linux a few moment ago with no success. May try it in another machine later.

So, what's the difference between this platform and Particl?

@paderobin

I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but as of right now, we are not familiar with Particl and their technical aspects - please give us some time, and we will check up on their project, and reply back as soon as possible. Smiley

I have high confidence that this coin is far better than the new ANN shitcoins... However, it seems that the development moving slowly. CMIIW. In fact, most users will need to know the basics such roadmap for the wallet, exchange, etc...

I cannot give full roadmap here(It will come in the future). But i know that we will have an alpha release of our windows wallet this week. About exchanges i cannot say anything yet(Most requires NDA's, when applying).

Based from your website, you have no partner merchant yet?
Since you are developing a marketplace here, you need to tap target merchants already.
And not wait for them. How will you change the world of cryptocurrencies?
Your platform has been launched many times already.
So it's just a matter of time that will tell who will gonna be successful on this type of venture.

We believe, taking into consideration that our team already have extensive knowledge(and commercial success) in the field of e-commerce(Primarily in northern Europe), we will have an advantage when getting new merchants to sign up. Who these merchants are, i cannot say this early on(But ofc. we have some ideas on hand:-).

Please also consider, that our code will be released as open source, so it will be possible to make a Valuto market for your own interests. We believe the latter will make Valuto bigger, and change crypto in the way that it will actually be used to buy everyday items.

@Tree51

We will not, and cannot comment on Valuto as an investment object. The blocks have been mined fairly. You can confirm this by looking into the Valuto source code. The only "premine" was, as coded in the source the blocks after genesis, that generated 500K valuto to the team and company.

We do hope not to be dumped on the markets and we do not look for a quick return either. We are as a team determined to develop a fair, open source marketplace with Valuto blockchain in its core.

I am glad you like the concept. BTW difficulty is still low enough for miners to get a good return even on normal hardware ... Maybe you should give a little mining a try :-)

@Tree51

The height was 138745(30 second blocks), at the moment of our announcement on this forum. We have NOT mined all those blocks ourselves. 24 hours after our launch on github, ppl started mining(Much to our surprise!). The amount mined until announcement on this forum was less than 7 % of the total supply, and is spread over a lot of different miners. We should however(seen in retrospect) have announced here, before prioritizing other social media (twitter.com, facebook.com, instagram.com).

We do not believe in heavy premined coins and i can tell you, that the team does not own more than a fraction, of what has been mined until now(ofc. the first 500K is, we need to pay for stuff:-)

I hope i have answered your questions to your satisfaction.

So 137745 blocks have been mined by a couple people? I don't buy that.

This project looks nice, really, but as soon as it hits a exchange there will be a massive dump.
