Wow.. 16+ hours for windows wallet to download the blockchain and it's only about 60% done.  Huge amount of data going out and very little coming in. WTF

mine was done from scratch this AM in abt 20 mins

Thank for the info.  I just tried it on another computer/network/isp and it's much much faster.

It looks like the bottleneck is the upload bandwidth.  I have DSL with slow upload speed and it brings the blockchain download to an excruciating crawl.  Only with this wallet.  Still concerned about why the huge proportion of outgoing vs incoming data.

Is there any way to get info from the wallet like via command line or a debug console somewhere? I'm not finding it, other than RPC of course. Trying a standard wallet command line query with either the windows or linux wallet binary (such as "./vanillacoind getinfo") always just starts a new wallet process, even when one is aready running.

Miners please spread your hash to all other available VanillaCoin Pools.

The little fellas need help.

List of Available VanillaCoin Pools:

http://vnl.nonce-pool.com

https://vnl.suprnova.cc

http://pool01.vanillacoin.net

http://pool02.vanillacoin.net
Hi , i belive dev wants us to stop using the 02 pool so i'd appreciate if everyone changed to 01 / nonce-pol to even out the hashrate

I'd really appreciate if some (many) could move over to nonce, as I'm doing some updates/upgrades on the pool and I expect some short interruptions within the next 2-3 hours, you can still set suprnova as your backup pool since hash is already uneven spread, it would be REALLY cool if you could move over to nonce.

THANKS

Could some of the miners please spread over to nonce? We need to even out for stability, and to keep load down. Thx
Yes bump
Also pool01.vanillacoin.net  has no fee either

Got 120 MH on 7970 (gpu950/ram1000). Is this a good result?
5*7970 = 590 Mh = 680 watt
Which are average results on 7950-7970?
