I can confirm it's a scam, project creator never contacted me back... I've found a clue about his identify though.

File sharing coin, this is interesting. we could send and receive file securely, and we don't have to worry if we forgot to delete the file, since it will be deleted as soon as it reach it's expired date.

I have just opened the website and make a test for file.io, I will be honest it is an interesting idea. I am deal with the quote "it's like Snapchat, but for files" and I am 100% agree this is fun way to sharing file.
