The Olympics 2018 are almost over.
WELL team couldn't miss a chance to drop into Korea to see the Games with their own eyes.
The founders Ildar and Alex had the opportunity to tell a bit about themselves and the WELL platform to outstanding Olympic medalists of the past Games.
They were sitting right next to Vladimir Krylov, a member of Russian relay team that won a gold medal in 1988; Murat Kardanov, a #1 in wrestling at the 2000 Sydney Games; biathlete Svetlana Ishmouratova, who won gold at the 2006 games in Turin; and Vera Krasnova, a silver medal winning speed skater.
The Olympics 2018 proved to be very high-tech and innovative. What the next will be?
What's the future of the Games? We've gave our own opinion on that.

How much funds do you need to be able to reach all the goals but have less than hard cap?
We have already raised the soft cap of $3 million. It allows us to finish developing our platform. And now WELL team is doing that. The funds left are necessary to scaling, further development, expanding functionality and etc.

Do tokens give me any benifits?
Yes, of course.
As a patient you may use it in WELL system to pay for the doctors' appointments. What's more, not only individuals, but also organizations may benefit from having WELL tokens and use them for several purposes (like access to databases, obtaining different info and etc.). WELL founder Ildar Fazulyanov and his co-founder Alex Prokhorov have been traveling through Asia, speaking with potential partners, advisors, and health practitioners about the benefits of WELL.
Below are highlights from his trip, which ultimately included some outstanding sushi
Starbase founder, Tomoaki Sato, joins WELL advisory board.

Ildar had successful meetings with Seiji Yuki, managing director of the Japan Cryptocurrency Business Association, which promotes the healthy development of the virtual currency industry.
He also had the opportunity to attend a Meetup with Lane Rettig of the Ethereum Foundation.

Why was the crowdsale postponed?
This change has been made in order to accommodate overwhelming demand from supporters and to add more functionality to the WELL platform. That's good news to those who have been asking for an extension on pre-sale bonus rates

One thing for sure...suddenly the healthcare sector is heating up for blockchain... Medicalchain, Etheal, Medichain and now WELL. WELL seems better than many of them though
Probably that's because healthcare field is really perfect for implementing blockchain. With it it's possible to overcome all those troubles medicine faces nowadays.

We see a huge demand from our supporters for make Whitelist period longer - and we're doing that. In that way pre-Sale will now go until April 15th, and the ICO period will run from April 16-May 15

Following the changes of ICO dates WELL has also developed a new bonus schedule, allowing more time for contributors to receive the maximum bonus of 40%. That 40% bonus will now be available until March 15th, with a 30% bonus given from March 16th to April 15th. When the crowdsale begins on April 16th, there will be a one-day bonus of 25%, which will decrease each week, ending with a 0% bonus during the last week of the crowdsale.

Though it seems a long long time for the ICO to complete, it is a reasonable decision. It will also giv ethe team more time to publicize the ICO and hit hardcap.

Yes, thank you! That decision is very reasonable, we've thinking firstly about all willing to take part. Now they have an extended period not only to join the ICO, but to get great bonuses.
