The price is based on exchange price on conversion of BTC.

e.g. 2.5USD min price at 400USD per BTC is 0.00625 rounded to 0.01 at the moment
Once we change it to format 0.00000000 it will be 0.00625BTC

In my opinion minimum trade amount should be lowered to ensure more users in exchange.

The min trade amount is 2.5 USD per trade in any currency. it has nothing to do with the value of e.g. WBB.
0.01 BTC is about 2.5 USD rounded.
We will change this so it shows the format 0.00000000 and is more accurate.

Any trade below USD 2.5 is not worth it and 2.5USD is really not much for a trade.

would you guys cool it with the bashing of users in this thread? get over it. seriously, you guys are bickering about something that isnt going to change so why don't we just focus on the topic at hand? just ignore the dude if you really take that much offense to his avatar, or if you don't like what he says. i personally do not have a problem with the avatar or the user, because they keep to themselves and are on topic. also, they are genuinely interested in what WBB has to offer.

dev, is there any reason the minimum trade amount is .01 btc? in my opinion, wbb is not valuable enough to have such a high cap. some of the orders in the books aren't even close to being worth .01 btc. maybe you could lower it to .001 or something? i am just curious, if you have a reasoning for doing this. thank you

Like said before the user name is also your ID and is unique. This we will not change. Issue with user names is that even if they are set to unique you could receive anything on names. For this reason we don't use them. Also it make identifying accounts for us easier. Like an IP address

We can however enable the fields so you can enter your first name & last name, address and so on. However it would be still the existing ID.

Good, Peter. But if we could change the username when we log in, it would be useful ; also, if we could see number of registrations at the bottom of the first page, like on Ccex.

Update:
The first day of full launch is behind us and people are starting to use 1EX.Trade for trading. Volume is of course low but this is the first day. Registrations are however good so the volume will change in the coming weeks.

Most important thing is now that you all start using it to trade. This will also increase the volume and bring more traders in.
In the mean time we clean out the final few little things which have been reported to us.

Open Issues:
1.) Display format on last trades ( home page logged in or logged out)
This is a simple issue and fix


2.) Help / FAQ link (top left and bottom)
Same when logged in or logged out: It does not always bring you directly to the helpdesk as it should. This is a simple fix and we sort it

3.) Help icons on Buy/Sell page
The help icons don't open the relevant help section. This we broke . It is a simple fix and we sort this

4.) On Login page you see a text (link) which says: Don't have an account yet? Find out how to open one.
Link is broken. This is an easy fix and we will correct it.

5.) Withdraw Crypto page
The help icon when you click on it does not work, this is a broken link. Again a simple and easy fix and we will correct it.

6.) Fee level and volume (on Account page)
It shows mostly 300.00 USD. This is the default amount we have set. We change this so it will show your converted value in real time. Again it is a simple fix to show the right info.


7.) Last price and Today's opening price (home page)
This we had left in the format 0.00
However we change these two fields also to 0.00000000 format. Again this is just a simple change to show 8 digits instead of 2 digits.

8.) some browser are some times sluggish and sometime they run very quick.
We looked at this one a little closer and we think we found it. We will make a small change here (that's the one ... fine tuning
These are things you see in the beginning and only can be tuned once site is fully running and live to get feedback from users.
After the change it should become even quicker

That's it folks and considering the millions of options which could go wrong or not work it is a very small amount. The few things we will correct this weekend and after that we should be set.

Next week we will then enable also Doge and coins which will be or are verified.
