Just clicking Login, go down the bottom to "register", and either by E-mail or Gmail.
Tries and tried again during the last day, never succeed...
Any particular character refused or accepted or mandatory in the password?

I too registered for October 2018. I registered for September airdrop too but did not get any from the airdrop. September was the first time I applied for airdrop. It seems either I was not accepted or it has not been fully distributed yet.
Don't worry. if you went through the registration process and if you're eligible,you will be paid. The airdrop stil ongoing
I have registered since August and always get an airdrop every month.

Is it normal that wallet syncing requires so many hours? 16.5h and counting
It is perfectly normal because some people were doing it for a day or even two days(of course, two days of time is for them who has a problem with their connection).
actually, you can sync it using their remote node if you do not have a time to sync it fully.
i used it today and only took 10 minutes to sync the wallet, but you need to do this whenever you are using your wallet.
It is taking a veeery long time to me too since I didn't log in for a while. I am a bit worried about this issue which could become a bottleneck in the whole project. After all, apart for us crypto-nerds, ordinary people want something which works well, easily and FAST. This being considered, we are still very far from mass adoption. X-cash team should work on making the user experience much much smoother.

After downloading linux version of wallet..how does one proceed with installing wallet
their is no installation, you just run
./xcashd
then
./xcash-wallet-cli
or double click on the X-CASH_GUI file

no, try running the GUI as admin this is the number one reason why it gets stuck on windows at the syncing progress bar page

Can you explain a bit more about it, please.
Before i was mining 100 coin every 7 min, now only 10. I don't like this.

I am using CLI wallet, if you are using it too try to imitate it(i am an Indonesian, that was why in this case i am using asianode).
first download the latest wallet on their github, afterward open notepad and type this inside.

make sure you do not make any typos there, then save it inside the folder(x-cash folder) in the form of (.bat). remember it is in form of (.bat) instead of (.txt)afterward, run it.
