Made a mistake on selling account ddnt read rules
I was upgrading my X-Cash wallet v1.2.1 to v1.2.2 about 10 hours ago , but the wallet is not really syncing..
Does the Xcash team have any announcement on discord about syncing problem with the new mandatory upgrades of the wallets before September 31, 2018?

This is the wallet download link https://github.com/X-CASH-official/X-CASH/releases/tag/v1.2.2

Ive been using the wallet without any issues, Syncing problem is cause by your internet connection and latency. If you have slow internet connection just choose a node that is near on your country of origin for faster loading.

have you run it as admin? i have the same problem until i run it as admin and it sync perfectly smooth

Maybe some of your question has not been answer yet it's because I know by their Professionalism, they are working to fix the wallet problem, if you already member of discord the team already address all of the question there, I am amazed of the team performance in this 1 month after the launching, they shows us lots of improvements specially the capability of listing this coin in the four exchanges including the cryptopia, that is the sign of a serious thinking and leadership.. We all see many project here but the roadmap delayed, but the XCASH team doing a great job.. Kudos to the team!!

yes i agree with you, the team is very hardworking and very transparent. hoping for the project success and as far as i know they are a 3 man team. so yeah a very promising project

Airdrop due date last day of registration will be on September 31, 2018. Register now before it ends. I hope all of us guys will get the airdrop this month. Good lucj guys! Keep up!

There is no 31 in September mate. The airdrop registration for September will end today September 30.
The distribution will begun soon afterward.
I think in 3rd waves of airdrops, They will undergo KYC to filter so many multiple accounts to grab an airdrop.

having a KYC is a huge blocker to those greed multi account people, so i think it's fair enough for the team to conduct a KYC cause we will having more airdropd to come  Grin

Huh, I was doing some digging around, and it turns out the entire XCash team is public, and has their profiles on LinkedIn. It's a spiffy team! Hope the devs don't mind me posting it below - I think it's really cool that it's easily findable:

I am fascinated by the X-cash project, however I have noticed that the blockchain is already occupying over 4 Gb of space on my computer in this very early stage stage of the coin. Why is it so "heavy"? If it is so heavy already now, how will the growing size be sustainable on the long run?

Indeed, because of the 300kb block size and the airdrop distribution, the blockchain size rose up quickly. This is something we were aware of at the beginning.
But when we switch to bulletproof transactions in late October the size increase will reduce greatly.
Hope i was able to answer your question.

Yes. But I already have another one. Will in the future the existing blockchain be reduced in size somehow too? By October it will have grown even more and to carry around such a huge bundle of Gibabytes FOREVER would be quite a burden.

Who knows if the date is known, when they will open incoming payments on exchanges?
Stex is a bad exchange, there are only moral freaks  buying coins at a cheap price.

we have already provided a fix on github and contacted cryptopia.
they said it would take a little time so thats as far as we know

Which pool has high hash?
13mh, Are you sure this isn't a bug? whereas of all existing pools there is no one that has a high hash, except the official 2mh pool

yes its probably someone who setup their own mining pool for their own private use. we had this a about a month ago for 4 days where the network HR did not match all of the public pools HR
does not make sense, because it is cheaper to buy than to have a big hash with cheap coin prices, loss, this is bug cnv7

Do anybody know how much data a fresh X-Cash wallet requires for it to synch?  Is there anyway we can synch the blockchain faster?  I am still using Paper wallet as we still have not any 32 Bit Windows wallet and when I tried use my other 64 Bit Windows laptop, it took just too much data that my limited data of 1.5 GB per day (from Datacard) was over before it could synch'd 100%.
using a snapshot of blockchain may help you to sync your wallet faster.
You should save and store you wallet file at different safe locations for later usages if something goes wrong unexpectedly.

I have some QT wallets of some coins and I know how to save their blockchains.  I think X-Cash is based on Monero (or I may be wrong) and it has different way of synching with the blockchain.  Last time I tried to sync fresh X-cash wallet, it just took too much internet data though it is relatively new coin and should not take much data.  Maybe if somebody knows or have direct blockchain download links, it would be of great help to me

everything is related to Monero will cause you that kind of problem,no matter what.
so if you want to do it,it would be better for you to use a 'remote node' other than downloading their blocks, because it won't let you to have it for a few minutes.
more importantly you are using a limited internet,so it will cost you a lot if you download it.

To everyone have some problem with syncy you can use 2 Option. Local Node & Remote Node, i recommended you to using a remote node, Don't forget to put off your antivirus & run the wallet with administrator

Thank you for the reminders. My wallet is now updated to 1.2.2 version and it is working normally like previous version. I just used the best node for it to sync. And also My cpu mining is working normally. Good luck guys..

I'm logging in the X-cash.org website with Twitter, however now Twitter has suspended my account because it has been tweeting about crypto (no comment) - I can still use it to log it on the website, but for obvious reasons now I'd rather switch to email autentication. Is there a way to do that?

Its strange that Twitter suspends account by tweeting about crypto's, im using mine for crypto purposes and haven't encounter such issues. Maybe you are just seeing a BOT MESSAGE? saying there's an unusual activity on your account and can be unlock by verifying your phone number

WHat you are saying has happened several times in the past too, and it could always be easily fixed. But now it is a suspension with no explanation, and by googling the issue it appears that it may be that Twitter accounts which have been retweeting ICO's projects are getting nuked, since ICOs can potentially be scams. A sort of Minority report scenario. You get suspended since you may be retweeting tweets of projects which in the future may turn out to be scams. My guess is that they are just cracking down on cryptos, just as Facebook has partially done. Today it's me, tomorrow it may be you. Social medias are NOT democratic systems.

Usually a synchronization problem can happen if you don't run the wallet as admin. Also, as per the instructions from our GitHub release you should restore your wallet if you don't have a password.
If none of that works, try another remote node, or sync the blockchain locally (option 4)

We are deploying new servers around the globe to improve synchronization time.
