Here is a "newbie" question about storing XAUR offline/cold preffered paper wallet.

I know and have setup already Mist-Wallet-Account-Deposit some Ether... Contracts/Watch contract/Watch token after withdraw XAUR from RICO to ETH address and then you see the XAUR balance on your ETH address.

How would one store XAUR on for example Jaxx. I understand i can sent XAUR to any ETH address but in Jaxx wallet case there is no option to watch a custom token and therefore use Jaxx to sent XAUR to another ETH address. As i understand XAUR are sitting on that Jaxx ETH address and if one reveals the private key for the Jaxx eth pub key and imports it to Mist (that has watch XAUR token setup) those XAUR would be visible on Mist.

If my previous assumptions on Jaxx (export PRV key / import to Mist) are correct is it safe to assume on can generate/print true offline paper wallets for ETH by grabing zips https://github.com/kvhnuke/etherwallet or https://github.com/ryepdx/ethaddress.org , deposit some ETH to those addresses and withdraw XAUR to ETH addresses on paper wallets. After while when ready so spent, trade, redeem gold or transact XAUR, import paper wallet private keys to Mist or whatever grandma friendly wallet that comes in the near future.

I am not a newbie in crypto but with all the frustrations with getting the f...g Mist to download the ETH blockchain i rather have my XAUR offline untill there is a more user friendly solution for ETH based tokens not to mention i have some friends that invested in XAUR RICO and they are counting on me to provide safe storage for the golden blockchain tokens.

Team @Xaurum should also consider keeping the RICO XAUR respository for their clients/investors/users and maybe charge some GAS or XAUR per month/year for the service as its already nicely safeguarded with 2FA and all withdrawals are manually verified before release.

To add i withdrew some XAUR from RICO account to Mist and i really dont feel comfortable having them Mist hot as the Mist is one of the worst gui crypto  wallets i ever used in half a decade.

Congrats to team Xaurum for a great RICO and a great coin and thanks to anyone willing to comment on my "best XAUR offline storage practice newbie type question".
You could also use myetherwallet. Then you wont have to download the blockchain and can use it as a paper wallet for cold storage.

Thank your @Kazadar that was my plan but i will use myethwallet offline (DL from Git), Flashdrive with UbuntuLive along with MyEthWallet source files a 10 year old zero hdd laptop and a prehitoric USB HP laser printer. Thank you for your swift reply on my post and if i may trouble you for just another minute on the subject:

How does one verify online (if there is such an implementation available yet)  the XAUR balance that is sitting on a paper wallet ir Jaxx eth address (without exposing/importing private key to Mist...)

For example this is my mess aroud with Jaxx address https://etherscan.io/address/0x670a0eB597c5bD2ba09304eB72deE17c409010dc and there should be 2 XAUR tokens on it.

Much appreciation for your time. Cryptolove from Slovenia.

"-- Waiting for administration verification --"

why do we need to wait so many hours on a simple withdraw?

Update...

So far it's been over 24 hours since I attempted to withdraw from RICO and deposit to the generated Xaur address on C-cex. I've put in a complaint ticket with C-cex but nothing yet. That was also 24 hours ago. I'll post if anything new happens. Thanks.

I have my xaur on myetherwallet.com and it does require to have ETH before I can sent my XAUR to c-cex address?
Has anyone sent their Xaur to anywhere without having ETH first.

Myetherwallet.com shold at least have their own exchange where we can buy eth with which coins we have. say I'm buying ETH using the XAUR I have.

The eth serves as a gas for the transaction to go through so i can say it is not possible to send xau if you don't have enough eth balance to push it

I don't have anything to buy single 1 eth. I wonder if its enough to just have about 0.2 eth. yet it doesn't have much movement in XAUR in C-cex. so everyone is holding? because if a lot of use are holding. i might as well do.   Grin
From what I have seen you need about 0.002 eth or less.
dont they use XAUR to "generate" gas? i didnt knew that... Sad

No, xaur is like the car and eth is the gas. If you want to run your car you need some gas. Anyway it only require a very small amount of eth (gas) which is almost less than 2k satoshi (btc) in value

I sent 3k xaur direct from RICO about 22 hours ago to the Xaur generated address on C-cex. coins never showed up, so I checked the transaction ID and traced my coins to a wallet with like 70 other deposits from other xaur owners. i sent a complaint ticket yesterday about 19 hours ago. i'm sure C-cex will fix the issue. I'll keep you all updated on the situation.

I used Mist walled to sent multiple Xau transactions to c-cex, they went very fast, just a few minutes. But the wallet must by synced with ethereum blockchain, so maybe there's a problem with RICO wallet?

If you have a decent Internet speed, better use Ethereum wallet to withdraw from RICO site and then send it to c-cex.

Yes! I did this procedure, and it was fine. I do not want to sell over the next months, I believe that the price will rise much yet. When the site coinmarketcap.com is updated to the new XAUR much more people will know of the existence

Well at least I am Smiley. Let's hope the price increases or wait for an exchange with higher volumes to see some interesting stable prices ...

Why doesn't it work to send tokens directly from RICO page -> c-cex generated adress? Do I need to add ETH to the account in some way to pay for gas? Possible to do later? Or is the token gone forever now?
From what I read there is an issue with the way C-Cex reads the RICO withdraw contract. They should be working on a fix I think.

If you have already sent your tokens I am pretty sure they will show up when its fixed.

If you have the option. The best thing you can do is to withdraw to an ETH wallet with at least a tiny bit of ETH in it and send them to the exchange from there.

Hello
I want inform you there is some problem with withdrawals from rico.
I withdrawal 1 xaur to check how going on on myetherwallet.com and all be fine. But after 2days I open myetherwallet.com and money not there, just gone ,how is that possible ?
The most likely possibility is that you have updated something so that your are no longer watching the XAUR token.

You just need to add it again.

I am not having any problems using myetherwallet for XAUR.
