they can't give exact date probably because they don't control the exchange site where this coin will be listed, it solely depends on the admin of the exchange if they want to accept XAU or not so patience is key in this time

No XAUR is a token on the ether blockchain so you will need an ETH wallet.

They're giving bounties this weekend so we'll see later how that eth mist works. I can wait so I will wait for the Xaurum wallet that's intended for it.
Or maybe even use the exchange sites wallet first. What are the devs going to do after? I'm hoping they'd continue to developed maybe treat this coin as assets on some platform like on antshares?

Maybe. The only thing I could find was that they supported TheDAO tokens which doesnt automaticly mean all tokens. Also their TheDAO token support wasnt very good but XAUR doesnt need voting support so it might be better.
Have anyone used Jaxx with other tokens?

jaxx.io support tokens, at least they support TheDAO token so there will be no problem supporting this token also.

I dont think Jaxx supports tokens.

No its a paper wallet but you can use it on their site or import it into other clients.
The wallet is not stored on their site but can be used from their site. Its basicly a java script running on their site and most if not all features can be used offline for increased security.

Its safer than holding them on an exchange and you have full control of your private key.

A full client like Mist is probably a little safer but then you have to download the entire blockchain.

Unless you want to sell them quickly, you really shouldnt keep them on an exchange.
With MyEtherWallet you just generate a paper wallet. You dont need to download anything.

Either you download the Ethereum wallet and wait for it to sync and yes it is long ... Or you wait for Xaurum to be listed on an exchange and then ask them to send your coins there. In both cases, we must wait for instructions from the Xaurum team. The first instruction was to download the Ethereum wallet and sync it. The team said they will be releasing by the weekend so I think at best we have something by Saturday, at worst it will be after the weekend.
