Any addresses you use from Poloniex won't necessarily be valid addresses. The only addresses that you can rely on are ones that you control the private keys to, because you can check to see that you have your HUC in there. For exchange addresses, they move them around all the time, e.g. to move some coins into cold storage, etc.

However, Poloniex knows about the snapshot and the lead dev has said that everyone will get their CHI according to the HUC they had in Poloniex at the time of the snapshot. I don't remember the blockheight offhand, but it's not really important.

The important thing is that you'll get your CHI.

There will be sample code that people can run before then, so chances are we'll be able to play around. Depends on devs.

Other gaming projects are using crypto only as a token to buy in game items/perks.
On the other hand, Chimaera is truly gaming on top of the blockchain.

As someone heavily involved with GAME for quite some time, I don't see too much overlap between these projects. GameCredits is working to build an all-inclusive gaming community, while Chimaera seeks to create resources for gaming directly on the blockchain. I've got no reason to believe it's not possible for both of these projects to flourish in their separate spheres.

Yes. Just like in many other places, such as how Bitcoin shares space with many other projects. Not all solutions are best for all problems.

When Chimaera is released, you'll be able to get your CHI on Poloniex according to the lead dev there.

So, basically, you might need to fill in a form, or your coins might just appear in your account. But you'll get them.

I'd love to see support of huntercoin with all this new traction. The ability to buy into the ICO with HUC at a slight discount would be awesome. You guys had mentioned on twitter that HUC would have a bright future. Could you share a bit more on what you meant by that?

It's not likely that we'll be taking HUC in the sale, but we've not ruled it out.

For HUC though, if our ICO is successful, we'll be able to use some of the technology in Chimaera to improve Huntercoin. The difference would be massive.

While Huntercoin is a different project, it's something very near and dear to our hearts. I wasn't on the Huntercoin team back in 2014, but played Huntercoin.
