The FUD isn't even correct. Cerium's most common isotope is not even radioactive. The other three most common isotopes are radioactive. But the most radioactive one has a half life of 70 trillion years, more than 50 times the age of the universe.

Some people are not using pools, They're solo mining. (Which is good for a coin, makes it more decentralized).edit: yes there can be private pools but they're basically solo mining or a few people.
