Bittrex exchange wallet...
48.6 Million XEL waiting at Bittrex to be traded. That is an unusual high proportion of a coin's total supply sitting at an exchange. More so at one single exchange. Why are so many people waiting to sell it?
Nothing wrong with this.. Where else these coins should be? Not everyone want to install wallet on their PC to hold xel...
I don't know why everybody else is doing this but I can offer you insight as to why I am. Simply put I dislike web wallets and would like to have my funds in a different type of wallet. I can't put them onto a hardware wallet and I don't really know how paper wallets function so not gonna try that first time here. Is there any other options to store the coins? I would like to use a proper desktop wallet but I didn't think this was available yet. Please correct me if I got this incorrect, ty.
I would also like to keep my Elastic on a desktop wallet. If that is possible currently anyway.

Only 1500 sats to go till the late "donation" phase price. Maybe it will even dip to "early adopters'" entry level which is about 800 sats.
I really don't see it going that low and I honestly hope it doesn't, but if it does I'll throw all of my remaining BTC at it.. I also don't expect BTC to continue to rise at the current rate it's going but that's crypto I guess, pretty hard to call what's going to happen in the short term..

many people bought it before the big drop because of the high bitcoin rise. They are disappointed and I think many of them don't even know what the project is capable of. So as always the weak hands are shaken off before a rise in price

Maybe it will go as low as the early adopters' donations, but BTC price is 15x from that time

Only a few held Bitcoin and ETH through all the pumps and dumps to get to today, they made the right call years ago which is has benefited them now. Noobies need to stop looking at monthly graphs and focus on yearly graphs development doesn't happen in days, it takes time.
The question is who will make the same call holding XEL for years to see what could happen?
Well said this one up. These promising markets suffers a lot because of the extreme changes in Bitcoin's value. I am sure in coming years when tokenized ecosystem for these area will be mature there will not be this much effect on these projects. Buying dip most of the times works great.

If the market would act reasonable and things were calm I would say you are right. But the boom seems to be delayed, even though we had some good news with the XEL IDE. This bitcoin madness is driving people nuts
XEL will have its time to shine, probably when BTC isn't taking the spotlight in the not too distant future! New money and whales will take advantage of such lower prices.

Order books do not really matter at all, new money will always flow unexpectedly and so will traders that sell instantly into orders. I am sad to see GNT higher than XEL, with BTC still going up I wonder how low altcoins will go. Morons dump at these prices
