You aren't going to get much with a single nvidia card, but, if you absolutely must have some immediately then get the cuda version of CCMiner (GPU) which has scrypt support and point your mining system at one of the pools, because with the current hashrate and number of miners on the pools you have almost zero chance of finding a block solo mining.

Alright completely new to mining and my GPU is more than likely under powered to do anything (nvidia 1060 I believe) but seeing how I can't buy this coin (yet) I was wondering if someone could help instruct me on how to get set up. Even if I mined just a few I would be stoked.

I wouldn't recommend using your gpu as scrypt mining was notorious for burning cards out
But this ccminer works with scrypt

you have to manually set difficulty in password command
instructions are on lychee bit site on the left site.
you have to set a minimum of 65536 as diff.

I'll always prefer mining than ICO's or airdrops. I find them more stable and the price more reliable. Xios is indeed an awesome name and you guys nailed it with the logo, its pretty cool. Lots of interest in this coin.
