Just to be clear and answer many private message questions,
the plan was to relaunch this coin after the first unsuccessful launches. (where the supply was billions)
Many people are using it now though and i have contacted many services to list it and exchanges, so it will stay as is.
As long as something out of my control is not happening, your coins are safe in your wallets as I am not re-releasing as this will get many people mining it for days upset.
As mentioned earlier, I have not premined the coin, so dont offer me paid services or bounties in XMD or any other currency as I am not paying anyone anything. I am not running a scam or an ICO, I just did this for fun and to learn.
I have some expenses that might affect the future of this coin though. I am running 4 nodes in Azure, with my Azure allowance, and the pool. If this coin is not in the exchange in like a month, I am not going to just waste those resources for nothing. So if you, the miners or the community, want to contribute, you can offer to run some nodes to support the network 24/7. If you have a spare ubuntu 14 machine just run this :
https://github.com/upggr/xmd-seed and forward ports 63666 and 63667. then give me the ip or DNS to add it in the coin and recompile everything so the coin can work even if my resources are down. (it will run now of course too, will just get flaky)
If you have no idea on how to run a seed, donate to dev or someone else that can do it. it would cost like 5$ a month to run a node in digital ocean or similar services.
for the pool similar case, i have made a tutorial on github on how to run a pool yourself and again will cost about 5-10$ (and there is already an unofficial pool running so we are ok with that.
Just want to make sure people are not disappointed and to assure people the funds are safe, but this comes with some responsibility as we need more people involved to make this totally decentralized. I am just one person.
