As stated in the OP: "Proof of Wok"

Does that mean you have to be an expert at the Asian Kitchen to mine this?
Grin (you don't really need to be expert in cooking to use a wok either...  Grin)

looking at the rich list, I must admit I am very skeptical about coin future if that 1M of xmg remains...
It would be good to have weekly update on what getting swapped and when the remaining will start to get destroy.

Because of the new swap ratio, I think destruction of the coin should start.
Also can you tell how much coin will be distributed through the PoM

Hello fine Magi community,
Magi (XMG) is a very, very active currency!
Every day there are new Magi extensions such as news, new exchanges, services, developments, etc.
Magi has about 25 different threads.
We have the original, the POM, the treads in different languages, other websites etc.
I can not keep all of these threads updated.
Especially since I do not speak all languages.  Huh
The moderators removing the posts where I have used a computer translation.
My request to the community is therefore;
If you speak another language and see that the Magi (XMG) thread of that language is missing updates,
please help updating.

Thank you

Mining Co-operative
When suprnova fixes it's crap server i will switch, and other will switch. It's shame that even with 50ms ping to suprnova and 150ms to nonce from me, nonce again works 3 times better. For long time i am avoiding suprnova.

How do you define "better" and how do you quantify "3 times"? I never noticed the slightest problem with Suprnova until they (merely) changed the port number for the new algo recently. They do have a higher pool fee, but I compensate for that by adjusting my level of donation on each pool. Most people do not donate anything to the pools, which is rather mean imho and possibly reveals a bit about human nature, but I digress ...

My earnings (the bottom line) are roughly equal on each pool atm despite the disparity in hashrates. This actually says something rather nice about XMG itself as it seems to spread the wealth around fairly. I am rather amazed by it.

I have some good news for Windows miners coming up. Meantime I have to announce that my 32 bit Windows miner does not work for stratum pool mining. It worked fine for wallet mining on testnet. I only just got around to testing it on a live pool and it is broken Sad I notice that nobody posted up a complaint yet Smiley I will get around to having another go at a working version soon. I am currently testing a new generic 64 bit Windows miner which is faster and fully supports the use of multiple threads. Only 3 required dlls too! Watch this space ...

I'm currently looking for additional pools like Joe asked for. I don't think it's a good idea when loads of miners only mine at one pool.

More pools would be great, but for now I would like to see more support for Suprnova. The situation has become very one-sided with Noncepool having a clear majority. It used to be more evenly split between them. Personally, I split my hashing power across both pools and my earnings from each are roughly the same, despite the huge difference in pool total hashrates. I would encourage people to do the same. As one of the pioneering pools, it is vital that we support Suprnova as much as possible and show our gratitude.
Had a look at the pool workers:
nonce-pool: Current Active Workers    117
suprnova: Current Active Workers        152

Wondering are these numbers correct? There were about 500 as I remember.
Some strange statistic in the morning, seems ok now,

nonce-pool: Current Active Workers    482
suprnova: Current Active Workers        165

pls spread hashrates between pools.

When suprnova fixes it's crap server i will switch, and other will switch. It's shame that even with 50ms ping to suprnova and 150ms to nonce from me, nonce again works 3 times better. For long time i am avoiding suprnova.

I read something about an Android wallet with staking feature for PoS. Would be a nice goodie, especially for people who spend more time with their smartphone than with their computer. Don't know if someone here is able to develop it.

Must have missed that, sounds cool.

Just found this blog post, it's worth reading.

HTML5 Wallet looks impressive.

Yes and the improved PoS doesn't sound bad, too.
