I honestly believe the Magi developer and team are brilliant. The XMG coin has become superb.
Feeling the same way!

I finally managed to mine behind a firewall:

"Expected time to earn rewards is 1h". It's writing that for at least 3h now... is it a bug?

I don't think its a bug because it happened with me too. I didn't have syncing issues though as others may have indicated.  I'll ask Sam when he gets back online to see if he knows about this. He's got some experience with PoS than myself. I've only played around with PoS on one occasion, and this would be the second; except this is more exciting than just a simple POS coin, as the PoS Stage #2 is interesting to me, as well as, the fact that its a hybrid of the equilibrium rewards system that developer has came up with in its new algo m7m.

Pretty impressed if you ask me. I think more speculators will hear about this, and see its stability of the long term goals. I will report my results soon.

What did I miss? Did PoS-II kick in yet?
Yes i did.

Thank you. Do you know if there is a recommended amount of coins to leave in the wallet for staking?  Should we aim for 1000 XMG staking per wallet? I plan to utilize a few old machines and newer VPS and PCs and split up my staking ratio. Off course, I don't have 1000 XMG for each one, so I would need to obtain 5000+ some how to get this done. I am just curious what could happen if we split up in different stake modes?

Could be because of the staking.

Wallet keeps syncing....

Try deleting all files (except for wallet.dat and .conf) from the %appdata%\Roaming\Magi folder

Then relaunch wallet

Why should this help?
I think it starts again after an hour or so because of staking.

awesome stats today; lets get in the top 100 so that this coin will be spotlight;
since its very community based and allows more miners to earn together.. http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/magi/

This is why we should spread the word; every miner needs to bring in at least 5 people they know to mine magi XMG

well done! This is a great start!

This is my day job, wanted to offer my services to anyone who needs it at a huge discount compared to a USD architect. Doing this to support the coin, will also donate 5% of every sale to MagiFunds

Send me a message to work out the details of course.

evilmuffinman, thanks for this great support to XMG, you are our 1st merchant Smiley Here is the marketplace forum in case you want to make a post there too:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=161.0

Ok made a site real quick, will add more info to it.
Also thanks to the developer we will set up an escrow account where he will hold the coins.

Coin of the Magi!
Great, I received my first 0.78 XMG for mining/staking. It says it will take 118 blocks to become confirmed.
Staking is superb!  Cheesy

I haven't got anything from PoS yet but it looks like things are working wonderfully.  Net hashrate is much higher and PoW block generation is slowing.  Nice, very happy!   Smiley

Small bug: it looks like the minting information is not updating when the mouse hovers over the mining icon.  (it always reports the same stake weight, network weight and time for reward)

It may take time depending on blocks; can you see now it is updated?

It has reported the same information since I opened the wallet this morning, maybe it will change if I mint a block, I'll keep an eye on it.

Oh boy got my first PoS-II block minted!  Smiley  The minting information seen from hovering with the mouse eventually does seem to change but it takes a long time and I'm wondering if it should more closely match the information from getmininginfo in the debug window (netstakeweight stakeweight)??

Congrats; will check out the network weight info.
