I'm wondering, Is anybody else here having problems connecting to the suprnova.cc pool?

I'm getting the following messages: -

Code:
[2016-10-30 08:33:22] Stratum connection failed: Failed to connect to xmg.suprnova.cc port 7128: Connection refused
[2016-10-30 08:33:22] ...retry after 30 seconds
Suprnova seems to be back (at least for now) - it must have been either a system update, outage or the site under DDoS attack.
So Suprnova is working ok now?
Hi 111magic, Yes, all is looking good on suprnova.cc for me now - Its been behaving properly since my last post.

Hi, I tried it but it doesn't work on my rigs and I can't see the miner in the pool.
I use xmg.maxminers.net
I may be doing something wrong

Strange - all working for me. I have the following lines in my pools.ini file, maybe you could try adding it

Code:
p=xmg.maxminers.net:7127
d=https://xmg.maxminers.net/index.php?page=dashboard
I am using an older version of sweetspot that they no longer supply

Just downloaded the latest one and created a settings.ini when launched.
Settings.ini shows this:

pool=xmg.maxminers.net:7127
worker=francomagi.Rig7
password=xxxxxxxx (removed)
threads=4
multitasking=T
miner=
target=NL
targetbv=Target 19+ XMG/Block
mincpu=10% (Default)
maxcpu=100% (Default)

The field "version" has nothing on the drop down box and I don't quite get the CPU target so I ticked "Don't limit"

Is the latest version working for you?

For my v1.01 sweetspot I have the following
Code:
miner=Win64-Spexx-Wolf0-V2c-generic
I just downloaded the latest version and noticed it no longer comes packaged with a miner.
I have a 'Win64-Spexx-Wolf0-V2c-generic' folder under sweetspot which contains 'minerd.exe', maybe that is your problem. You might need to download the minerd.exe too. There are a few versions on the OP https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ann-xmg-magi-cpu-mining-mpow-mpos-magipay-735170 select the version which works best for your rig (maybe trial and error will help there)

Hi Joe,
I have a silly question. What miner do you guys use?
I have been mining since april, have 6 rigs mining ETH and use the cpu miner to keep the cpu busy as well  Grin
My miner has never been stable and although it has an option to automatically restart, it never worked.
I use m-cpuminer-qt.exe which has got a simple GUI.
Can you guys tell me if it's a good one or there is anything better?
My google searches don't really show much.
SInce April I mined 4230 XMG  Smiley Smiley and registered for the new POS scheme as I keep my wallet running...
Cheers,
Franco

Hi Franco,

I'm using sweetspot to mine, I never had a problem with it until now. URL is below. I think they took away the option to automatically restart in the later version.

34 likes should be a nice new target! Join Magi and like the Magi Facebook page and try to win 1000 XMG

Seems to be a very difficult goal to achieve - we got to 900 fairly quickly but the last 100 have taken ages in comparison. Wonder why that is =)

Magi's sweetspot miner!! Smiley

Great news and thanks for the posting - I'm still using v1.0.2 of sweetspot - didn't realise that we had a few new version (1.0.6) out since then. I'll plan to upgrade to the new version.

Is there a command like:

splitsize=x (ClamCoin use it)

And what would be the best size if something like this exists for XMG?

Thank you!

The following post should help with the information that you need. If you need any more info feel free to ask...

Exactly what I was looking for.

Thank you very much!

You're very welcome - if there is anything else you need a hand with please ask - the Magi community are very helpful.

That would be nice. Price will be the same as on poloniex and bittrex the more people add buys&sells. Would be cool of lots of Magi community members will open an account there. I will think about something for that!

Thats cool adding new exchange will make more investors to join as of now price is really very good to invest allowing your wallet to be full and wait for more progress stake and wait will make investment to grow big thanks for this project dev.
