Currently staking 2.7k XMG and giving a profit, appart from the PoW mining ofc. I recommend you guys to not sell them, they give more staking.

Seriously, are you earning something Huh ? The biggest stakes that I ever had were no more than 0,1 XMG Undecided...

It's not that much, but I had to have the machine on so I don't mind if it's generating a bit more for that Smiley

I have a Raspberry Pi 2, so I can stake without losing money, or a few pennies per month.

I also thought about that, but the Raspberry will cost me more than the staking XMG so it's useless. Shame I sold my Raspberry long time ago.

I have a Raspberry Pi 2, so I can stake without losing money, or a few pennies per month. But I can say this is really profitable. On the other hand, having a low interest make the price really stable Wink !

That's right. The high hashrate confirms the good working of the unique blockreward system.
Magi is working on next Proof of Mining campaign to support miners with small hashrate!
The register for the new Proof of Interest campaign will open at 01-12-2015. The last Proof of Interest campaigns gave 6% interest in two months.
Thats a higher interest Banks will give.

the last pom didn't even finish  Huh
Amigo you might missed the info about this.
I sent you a pm.

sry for the confusion, there was a lot of discussion going on about the hashrate so it seems that i missed the info.
btw, i still find the calculation for coinamount in relation to hashrate one of the best things in whole crypto world.
but tittiecoiner is also right, it is not the way to go if somebody can concentrate hashrate and "kill" the coin.

... but i have no better solution at this time

He'll make blocks stop to generate coins; I hope miners stay mining.
I agree with you.
You'll need to find a solution to prevent someone will be able to get so much power over the (PoW) mining process.
Joe you will find a solution for this because you are a genius.

Even if I appreciate your efforts to support small hashrate miners, there's the need to find a solution. XMG is, unlike Scrypt coins, not affected by multipools. But as this guy has proven, one single person could control the whole PoW mining process and make miners leave so that XMG would only rely on PoS for a certain time.
You cannot always compensate low mining profits with manual bonus payments in the long run, that's nothing more than some kind of action for a short time.
That's right. But there are different miners and I think mining and staking are important for the future of digital currencies. But also the community is very important. The power of the Magi community is awesome and Magi has overcome other things in the past. Giving the smaller miners some extra trust and rewards with the Proof of Mining campaigns will give extra power to Magi.
And also its a good thing to talk about solutions and options to make Magi stronger.

if someone meet low profit and give it up ,it's not a healthy ecosystem right?

That's nothing but pure bullshit. Next to a hand full of people, every miner is in the mining game for any kind of profit and will leave a coin that only gives poor profits.
This will be valid until you reach the masses, everyone is running is tiny tool which makes them a low hashrate miner. But there will always be a chance to abuse it (botnets, GPU miner,...) in order to gain an unfair disadvantage.

Tell me 5 coins that wouldn't be affected, miners would even leave Bitcoin if they are no longer gaining any profits.
What you are doing is not to test an eco system, you just want to hurt this coin and prove that you have the power over the whole XMG system (yay, you are sooooo great...not).

MagiPi  | The first COIN MAGI Pool on a RaspberryPi

Nice Welcome in our awesome Magi community!!

Thanks for the pool; this is very nice and the logo is awesome. I noticed the download for linux minerd isn't linked properly which is now with the name m-minerd-32-linux.tar.gz on the page:

Joe: Magi could add this great pool to the next Proof of Mining campaign!

I don't know why big share mining but only a little...

Are you asking why such a large hashrate is producing so few coins?

The block reward adjusts according to the network hashrate, rising to a certain point, then quickly dropping if the hashrate gets too high. You can check out a plot of the block reward function on this site. Just keep in mind that the reward calculation is based on the hashrate over time, not the instantaneous hashrate.
Think hè gain better results mining another coin!

That's for sure but I guess it depends on what his goal is, he knows what the results are with his high hash rate, so I conclude he is doing this on purpose.

I totally agree with you. My guess it he isn't in for profit (he should have understood that he won't make profit this way). His real intention? There are several reasons to choose from.

He'll make blocks stop to generate coins; I hope miners stay mining.

Don't think too much ,my work is research coins ,and XMG architecture is good ,please don't give it up and leave ,I think there are many powerful  miners also have high hashrate ,if someone meet low profit and give it up ,it's not a healthy ecosystem right?

Coin of the Magi!
There came up a warning again about checkpoints "WARNING: Checkpoint is too old. Wait for block chain to download, or notify developers." This warning won't affect anything so just warning.  I'll take care of it at some time.
