Moar mining!!! .. oh wait, that's too much
Yes it is Grin

Hey fellow Magi guys and gals. Long time lurker here - I've finally registered  Grin

Spexx I wanted to ask, where did you get that screenshot? Up to now I've pretty much just been mining and selling my XMG but might start staking properly now... in the past on a few hundred XMG I'd only see fractions of an XMG every few days  Huh

Wow, someone dumped 20K of his coins at bittrex.
I was the lucky one who got 6K of them.

And you are Happy to support Dumping?

Wow...Thats not very Magi

I suppose that's called buy support, not dump support.
If I didn't buy this much, the price would now be around 5000 sat instead of 6000 sat.

Good solid buy support.

Heroic in fact. Very well done.

today i checked magi diff for first time, so i noticed a considerable difference between pow and pos difficulty, i know mining in pos is more profitable
but this big difference is confusing for me?!
a little help plz...

Hi,

The proof-of-work mining is much more difficult than the proof-of-stake mining.

You need some good hashing power with the program minerd.exe to earn some XMG from proof-of-work mining.

The hashing power for proof-of-stake mining comes from the XMG wallet when opened for staking and does not need to do much work to mine a proof-of-stake block.

A proof-of-stake block is worth a lot less than a proof-of-work block.

There is symmetry for you Cheesy

Its Magi! Guess I missed this chance to buy some XMG cheap!

Well, put a few btc around 6000 now.
Maybe there's still someone around who wants to dump.
Otherwise it will keep the price above 6000.
I'm out of btc for the moment. (or should sell my bag of NAVs)

Thanks Spexx.
Nice The Frisian!

By absolute chance, I watched it happen. 20K XMG sold in a flash.

I only checked in to Bittrex briefly (I don't use it) and had just read the sell price and then looked at the buy price ... which dropped like a stone in a second. I had to rub my eyes and check the url and reload the page before I believed it.

There was a small sell panic on the other exchanges, which was mopped up easily.

It really is a shame that these people spoil it for everybody. Excessive hashrates like that should be pointed at the XMG multipool, not at the XMG blockchain.

i think that this is the point, why pools didnt do it?, they need something really complicated to apply it or what?

i think most of us will agree if all pools do it, yes? something like put some type of khs top.

I am pretty sure that those who have those Hashdozers just lean back and laugh at the people who mine the dust then.

Classic "I have enough get more and laugh at those with less" behavior and very very poor xD

I hope those blockbrakers read our posts and might recognize that its just Childish and stupid what they do Cheesy

Additional:

I would like to point out that our latest XMG mining pool operates the same 250 Kh/s limit as the Coinmagi Proof-of-Mining pool, which is something to be admired.

Please show your support by switching away from pools that allow these bulldozers to operate unchecked. A good solid boycott might just drive the message home.

Join us at Cloud2b mining pool:-

https://xmg.cloud2b.de/index.php

point your miners at stratum+tcp://xmg.cloud2b.de:3333

You know it makes sense Wink

Good words Spexx.
If people would like to join the Proof of Mining you can also use the new pool!!!
