Access to this page has been blocked.". I think you should investigate this issue, maybe you did not use any malware code, but bear in mind that the piece of code is bad to be used.
That is the wrong message from Bitdefender. It ought to say something like "Malicious Website". There is no malware whatsoever on that web page nor are there any software download links - it is mostly a display page with links to other web sites. Bitdefender is a very good anti-malware solution (Emsisoft is even better, being based on the Bitdefender engine) but it is way too aggressive on default settings. The actual problem in this case is that the web page contains a link to bitcointalk.org (i.e. this forum) which is on their URL blacklist. You can remove URLs from the Bitdefender local blacklist manually.
There is a general issue with anti-malware software and cryptocoin mining and they can seldom live under the same roof together. For example, Avast (free or paid version) will interfere with the miner and slow it right down if you do not switch it off.
A month ago, Google Chrome would prevent downloading of my new Windows miner. Now it just gives a warning but lets you download it upon instruction. That's progress.

BTW, Spexx, what is the download link for your newest version? I am not sure if the one on the coinmagi.org is the newest.
I can't actually find the link on coinmagi.org, since the menu system does not seem to work on my browser (Chrome). It ought to point to:-

It might say "Win64"in the file name but it does support 32 bit Windows as well.
This link will always have the very latest version. This link is used by the software itself to update from.
The XMGpoolminerWin64.exe is a self-extracting Zip file which unzips to C:\XMGminer by default. Once unzipped, the Setup.bat file should be run to configure the miner to user requirements.
The minerd binaries, without any supporting software or documentation, can be found on:-
