still hazy on that...are you saying that out of the first 20,000 blocks some were mined POS therefore instead of 5,000 to 10,000 xra being rewarded for those blocks ...only .1 xra or so was rewared and into circulation.

I am new at this....an am not sure if I understand why pos blocks would lower the total coin supply as stated on OP?
POS blocks have a lower reward. So a POS block that is now being find will generate 0.1 coins or so, and when a block was found by POW then the number of coins is 10,000 so how more POS blocks being found before the coin is fully in POS how less coins that are generated.
