v1.0.3.8 has been released.  Notable changes:
-Increment version to v1.0.3.8
-Logging Improvements
-Remove Quicksync feature fully
-Block v1.0.3.6 due to known malicious client
-Add in many checkpoints to improve v15 syncing, still WiP
-Add in more seed nodes (Thanks to Muffin Man)

Will you guys be partaking in masternodes or staking?

No.

Solo has a goal of eliminating the economic incentives that lead to network centralization. Masternodes and/or staking make sense for some projects, but are not in line with this project's goals.

Guys in case I want to mine from a different PC do I have to copy paste my current binaries folder along with my local wallet data?

Last, is it possible to mine with many different PCs simultaneously?

Thanks in advance ^^

If you want to receive your mined coin in the same address, use the daemon command with the same address. You can open CLI wallet in one machine and receive the mined coin from your other nodes. Yes, you can use as many as CPU you have to mine simultaneously. Talk to dev how to port forwarding and prioritize your node. Good Luck Miner Boy!

This new release is cool. I don't see the blocked node and late synch message. I even found a block after two minute run  Grin maybe just luck. Anybody should upgrade and it should block the oldest version node.

Anyone using AMD? I'm planning to use one with Linux. Can anyone share the hash rate?

Hello I've been mining for about 12 hours no shares received. I synced blockchain snap shot created wallet. Created bat file with wallet address and number of threads to run mining. It says its mining and give me my hashrate but then when I go check balance in wallet says 0. Solode is up to date and synced I'm lost I dont know what it could be.

This is solo mining coin... it takes time to find a block.... what CPU you are using?

I downloaded the latest version.
Very slow sync, stopping, need restart.
Why such problems with the daemon, will there be corrections?

Download the snapshot and put in the same binaries folder .... it should speed up a bit....

I just talked with dev in discord and here is the solution.... from the cli wallet :

Code:
set refresh-from-block-height 0
rescan_bc

My wallet showing balance now... i found their discord from twitter https:/[Suspicious link removed]/ktwaHyVc81

I had already imported the blockchain.raw from the very start along with my binaries, so the issue was not there after all. The solution proposed by the devs and written above from the member "lucky80" worked just fine for me.

I do confirm that my wallet now successfully displays its balance.

Yes, everything is now smooth.... except for a delay in synchronization today... sometimes some nodes or mine left behind ...

Same here, screenshot from a mined block but no reward on wallet at after several hours and refreshes.

Is there any specific mechanism to receive block rewards?
Otherwise we mine for another person's wallet and is a total scam!!!

I had the same problem. I mined for more than 18 hours offchain. In other words, I was mining on my own chain for some reason.
After I downloaded the bootstrap .raw file and extracted it, then restarted the miner and it synced to the correct chain.
However 18 hours of electricity waste was just.. waste.

command to import:
solo-blockchain-import --verify=0 --input-file=blockchain.raw       add this only if you changed the default data directory>  --data-dir

then start miner

Here you can check if your version/ blockheight matches with network: http://explorer.minesolo.com/

Strange....
Anyone else receiving an error about incompatible version 1.0.3.4 despite having download and install the latest Windows binaries 1.0.3.6?

It results into an IP ban for more than an hour after 5-10 minutes of usage, while the CPU hashrate keeps mining at full speed as usual.

I am receiving those message too...some nodes are not yet upgraded...

I have a question ....I entered "start_mining" without address from the daemon and find two blocks..... is the mining rewards go to my address? I have checked no coins received yet

Are you sure you were blocked, or YOU blocked someone else's IP, for him having an old version 1.0.3.4?

Nope, I am definitely using the latest version, while "bans" command listed my own IP there. Nevertheless, after the latest fork today the problem didn't re-appeared.

Strange, now I'm using the "start mining" command from daemon with my wallet address... but the reward is not received
