Zcoin is one of pioneers in terms of improve privacy for crypto users. From the article above, I read and found that Zcoin's algorithm has some advantages to over-perform others private coins. It will take time for crypto comunity to really catch the idea of Zcoin and their team's approach to increase privacy.

We are proud to finally release Zcoin 13.8.1 which will activate our Sigma privacy protocol on block 182,030 or approximately 23 July 2019. This release is a culmination of work that began in early 2018 and a testnet launch in early May 2019.
Thank you for the great technical job.Is this release a mandatory upgrade for ZNodes reward ?
We will loose rewards if we make the upgrade only mid-August ?
This is a mandatory upgrade for Znode. No upgrade no reward!

It is good to know that Zcoin has part of its plans to help African women, and I nearly fall in love with the beautiful girl above. Additionally, the Zcoin Sigma protocol is pontentially improve privacy of Zcoin and might make it become one of the best private coins in crypto. Months to come are very important to see how Zcoin will grow and expand its ecosystem with Sigma protocol impacts.
