down again and again

I've contacted them - they have 7 day's to fix the issue or we'll remove them off our list of Active pools.

Cheesy It's features with the Argon2d implemention we were impressed with - we did make this well known publicly. We even took the lengths to add into our wallets a copyright message too.

Hope you're all doing well. Over the last couple of days it was alleged the Argon2d 250 could be mined with a GPU.

During the initial concept and design of Zumy, the algorithm at that point that had been most successful to meet the objectives was the Argon 2d.  Argon works as a password hashing algorithm using the memory access to allow CPU's to thrive in comparison to GPU's. As technology and crypto currency develops it was always a possibility that work arounds and modifications to Mining software would inevitably happen. Our stance from day one on Zumy's GPU ability was positive. If one was to be developed we'd 100% release it and it's binaries to allow people to use GPU and make a fair choice between which they feel is the most effective.

As it stands it would appear we have a GPU miner created by a developer for our specific Algo Argon2d250. The zumy team didn't create this miner.  Due to the miner being released - our first point of call is to test it  Grin The development team tonight are running GPUs and collating results.

Regardless of the results we promised that we'd release the miners for both. As if a developer can make a GPU miner - anyone can and all people of Zumy as part of our decentralised network need to be able to access all opportunities available for them to mine with - if we don't do this then many members of our community would never now leading to centralised mining.

As a small disclaimer for all Zumy isn't the only coin which now has GPU miners open on Argon2d - this has only came in recent light.

We're extremely glad this came to light within the early days of Zumy preventing people if the GPU miners are proven tonight to be effective, that the community and the project isn't affected at all.

Zumy is flexible and dynamic to cope with economic and technological changes.

Q2 is list to exchange?

Q2 is to launch our own exchange. xD We'll launch on another exchange soon - there's not enough circulation right now for their to be a sustaible exchange, or enough time for people to evaluate the value of the coin Cheesy

There are two low volume exchanges who are newly launched:
https://exuex.pro/market/BTC-ZMY
https://exchange.tourcoin.info/

However we haven't placed these in our sites or publicly promoted them - due to being low volume and always a risk for users. We'd always want to list our coin somewhere with large stable markets.

Exchange link https://exuex.pro/market/BTC-ZMY does not work. HuhHuh?

They're having an update of some sort. We're not supporting any of these exchanges - hence links deleted.

Going to jump in on this while it's good. I love cpu mining and there is quite a bit out there but this project looks very promising. I always got the most profit CPU mining with the Argon2d etc algo compared to the rest. I am mining Zumy now with hopes it will succeed. I guess we gotta wait and see how it goes.

mining as I speak. Devs have 640000 in a wallet ZCdmmjkvwkR33uAEdxoNMHDaAaxYmiV11d

Current coin supply as of this post is: 640473.5

Not sure how they got 640000 coins when the block reward was 0.5 before switching to 1.6.

Edit: I see where the 640k is coming from.

Let's see how transparent they will be in the utilization of their premine. In most cases, masternode projects don't hold ICO because they generate money via mn selling. That's easy money and less effort as compared to running an ICO.

So about 1,080 ZUMY will be mined per day, right?

Does that mean it'll be nearly two years until 50% of the circulating supply is fairly mined/staked, and 50% is the 640,000 premined by founders?

Right now devs own 99.3% of circulating supply, and it'll be years before that percentage drops below 50%.

I understand your concerns completely – and myself as a crypto enthusiast would feel the same ; We have no presale, no ICO. As much as we're funding out of our pockets too however we need a solid premine to allow us to excel forward - many great projects have them. And I firmly do believe that once our dev teams launched our own two masternodes in Feb this year - we would have proven that we're working on a project and deserve then.
I’d urge you to read our whitepaper, look at what we're doing we just launched what this space and see how we're going to take this forward.

In the whitepaper we explain how we’re using each coin and the purpose of them. Each coin moved out we’d explain the reason why and how it’s being used. We’re using the premine for only a year to get us going as a project. Once that has reached the excess premine is all burnt – this is highlighted clearly in our monthly update where we list what we’ve spent the premine on and where it went.  You can find this on our site once added and on our discord.

We’ll post it on bitcointalk too

The development team will only be running two masternodes in total. And will take 2000 coins a month.

Hi Dev,

Can you explain why there has been a mining going on without you launching the wallet. you are talking about the decentralized coin then what is that A SCAM OR WHAT. LYING FROM THE START WHEN MINING HAS NOT STARTED.

Address                                                   Shares   Efficiency   Hashrate
ZRkAgYvoiguUmpwrQEwZVcuKvuafrtmUuR   12801.76   100%   103.81 KH/s

This was announced from the first day of our bitcointalk ann - that the chain would begin 4 days prior to the launch with a low reward of 0.05 ZMY, Tha's a mere 3% of the reward comapred to 1.6 ZMY.

We did this to allow us to have exchanges, pools, explorers , masternode hostings and many more services available for the launch date.

If you look right now as the blocks turned from 0.05 today to 1.6 ZMY, on the 1802 Block which was today we had over 5 mining pools up as well as masternode hosting site. The start before hand actually had proven to be extremely useful as we'd after the second day noticed a huge bug in the difficulty retarget which allowed us to restart the chain and fix again - we did have a testnet but with the hashing power from the testing with the miniscule blocks let us highlight this during our BETA development stage of the main chain.

We then restarted the chain 48 hours ago with the tiny pow blocks set for them to change today to 1.6 ZMY. This is where the windows and macOS binaries were released. The GitHub was out as soon as chain began for the developers of poos etc to setup.

Right now we have a hashrate going across the pools allowing people to mine on time with ease of all the pools up.

We could of easily restarted the chain to begin with 1.6 ZMY - however people who mined the tiny blocks the development testers should get to keep the reward. It was only: 1800 blocks x 0.05 ZMY = 90 ZMY for testing.

The coin is decentralised as people have within 30 mins mined more than the chain did within the first 48 hours.Wallets were released for all today and allowed people to be ready with thier CPU miners to begin mining the 1.6 ZMY blocks

Trying to compile cpuminer for Zumy on my opencompute nodes and I get a linker error.

Code:
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lz
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status
Makefile:1850: recipe for target 'cpuminer' failed
make[2]: *** [cpuminer] Error 1

E5-2620 v1 cpu's running Ubuntu 18.04.1 server.

Complies just fine on Ubuntu 18.04.1 desktop on my dual E5-2667 V3 main pc.

I made sure the server has all the same liblz files as the desktop.

Tried both ./build and ./autogen then make but no go.

Even tried to compile with all arch cpu flags on my main pc and copy it over to the server and it core dumps.

EDIT:  To get it working I had to compile it on my E5-V3 pc and instead of using "build-allarch.sh" I had to specify the cpu flag as "sandybridge" then copied it over and now its mining.

Do not know why cpu flag of allarch would core dump.
