Price is dropping as multipools are dumping. Daily volume is at around 85 BTC/day (bittrex + poloniex ) . The dev team is doing a good job.

The difficulty is way too high to justify this low price. I regret leasing so many rigs.. Could have got twice as much coins by buying at the exchange for this ridiculous low price. Now I'm divided between wanting to mine Darkcoin instead, then to buy Sync.. or to continue contributing to the high hashrate/difficulty to prevent the situation from getting worse.

Well, you cant expect otherwise tbh. The coin has a very short mining period, in this period there are multipools that jump hard any coin that is in the top5 profitable coins and they have to pay the miners in BTC - so well they dump it right there, they can not way for a long period of time. Then there are people that saw something in the coin ( and for a good reason ) and rented a good amount of rigs, some of them are clever enough and will hold, but there is always some of them that like to make a profit right now so they sell. Yes at the current prices its not not worth it to rent-sell but the last 3 days at prices in the range of 0.9 to 0.6 you could turn renting into profit.
And well on top of that we have the traders, they are not that stupid, they know all of that so they do not put high orders. And why would they ? Some one WILL dump so the price will go lower and they will be able to buy cheap - therefor get a higher return when they wanna sell later
So well my opinion is that SYNC is doing great right now, growing and friendly community, smooth launch so far ( lets hope the POS transition will also be that smooth ), volume is great and price is doing good so far.
This are my 2 cents.

the thing is, we can never foresee these situations. I'm content to have rented a shedload of rigs, it's making me SYNC, and I know I won't be selling anything below a decent rate of return. I also bought some at different prices and I don't think i'll have any problem in making a healthy positive return on my investment.

Well this coin is going very well,. not too long let now on pow,. i wonder if it will go on the vote list at mintpal?
Its all ways a gamble mining a new coin,. even more so when there is so few of them and so many of US.

market volume warrants SYNC being added to mintpal without a vote. Dev should get in contact with them
It doesn't have to be the dev, I tweeted Bittrex about XLB last week and they added it a couple of hours later. Obviously Mintpal is a little harder to get onto, but a quick tweet linking to Sync's twitter, it's daily volume ad it's peak hash never hurt anyone. The more who tweet it to them the more serious they'll take it and we can hopefully skip past the vote.

Use TXiDs instead of wallet address. The 404 error is because this coin has Zerocoin anon implemented and thus all wallets are anon.

OK, get your wallet open and double click on any transaction... paste the tx ID into the block explorer and on the right hand side, you will see encrypted wallet addresses. click on the addresses, one of those will show your wallet balance, that's your encrypted wallet address.
