i tried sync.conf, synccoin.conf, Sync.conf, Synccoin.conf, conf.conf...
leaving nodes out doesn't work either.
Still 0 connections, 0 blocks

Even if the dev sells the premine he's got a bunch of bounties to pay off. If this was just a cashcow for him/her than I guess we were all bamboozled. I'd like to think this coin actually has a future as a store of value, maybe i'm just an optimist though
edit: we could def use a large boost to the PoW % though at least 10% on a coin count this low.
