Ok thanks - will just have to wait it out and see if the block I found appears spendable. Learnt a lot in the last half day - that's one advantage of solo mining!

Just so you know blocks are taking about 45 minutes to mature.

Same here, but I'm using Windows..  Can't help you with Linux.  With this hashrate, unless you have a bit of power it's going to be a tough solo mine.

Thanks - only at ~45k so lots of blocks to go yet then! Wont sit here waiting for it to sync up!

If I may, waiting for the completion of the "revive" team my suggestion is to solo mine and keep the current wallet active, so to get easily the coins and - at the same time - contribute to the network hashrate. Just as I do. The difficulty is rising day by day. Good luck!

Ok, I've taken up your suggestion - trying solo mining for the first time! After much googling and compiling I have got the wallet synced up and running as a daemon (running the 66 program under ~/66coin/src), and got my miner pointed at it and found a block - but not sure if ive got it set up right as the coins dont show up when i use the command ./66 listreceivedbyaddress. Am i doing something wrong or do immature coins not show up from that command? If not then how do i see unconfirmed coins? Just want to make sure I'm up and running properly! Thanks

edit: getbalance shows non-zero is this the immature coins balance?

solo mining is a very bumpy ride man.

i think if you wait a while they will mature and it will be fine.

Hey guys, block explorer under construction Huh 66 difficulty is rising up, very good. On the other hand, there is still someone on C-CEX selling their 66s for peanuts which is very bad.

Anyway, keep up the good work!

i wish this coin will be good in the future.

Great news JaroBe! I think that would be  better to find a pool that wants to add 66 rather than setting up a new one from the scratch.

Any update regarding explorer/wallet?

Not really. All I know is that they are coming soon.

Can you fix the title? Sum up the coin properly like in other ANNs

This coin has some better scope. 42 coin sells at 8 btc each. 66 coin is hardly 0.35

He means putting " [ANN][66]" in front of it Smiley

Don't forget some benefits of the coin in the ANN as well!!

Any update regarding explorer/wallet?

That's it: simply find a good one, send an email to the admin / support email address and ask for adding our coin.

Difficulty over 0.3!  I think about setting up a pool. Has anybody an idea where to find information/guide about it?

Explorer and a new wallet are under construction by CRF.
