Coin-Swap is much more resistant to market manipulation. On microtransaction exchanges the price can be manipulated quite easy.
Coin-Swap holds a coin's value much better, people just think "hey if we get on Cryptsy we will get rich!" Most coins bottom out and never make it back.

I'm trying to join your pool. After registration it said that an email was sent to activate the account. But I never got that email...
Looked into the problem and it seems that my mail server resolved gmail.com to it's IPv6 address while my hosting provider does not give me IPv6 support, so the email was dropped.
I manually unlocked your address and you should be able to login now. Also modified my mailserver configuration so this doesn't happen in the future.

Maybe they finally figured out that microtransactions at 30x the market price is not the way to raise the price of a coin... and they're buying to increase the price.
Alternatively maybe someone just has a shitload of bitcoins and really believes in this coin!
