The best investment which I mined in the last weeks.

Ok so I mined a few of these coins as soon as it came out.
I have moved them back and fourth from the exchanges but have not sold any.
I have unlocked my wallet and I am running the latest version.

My question is since I have moved my coins out of my wallet (even though they are some very early block coins) I will have to wait 2 weeks since I last moved them into my wallet, Is that correct?

All those who are bashing this coin, I put on ignore. I suggest you to do the same.

The reason why I am staking now is because I got my coins in my wallet two weeks ago during mining when it first launched.

Congratulations Dev for a GREAT JOB with AsiaCoin. The first 2 weeks were perfect! No fork during POW and now POS staking works like a charm! The Dev knows what he is doing. Thank you very much!

To Check if wallet is locked, should simply be a little lock symbol botom right of wallet.. If unlocked, the lock icon shoud be open.


To unlock wallet from command/debug :

true or false is an option to unlock wallet just for minting, but i doubt that has been implemented yet as the only coin ive seen that work on so far is peercoin and that required some tweaking on the user's end.

Just like with PoW. If someone else finds a block a split second faster then you. Yours will be orphaned. So if someone with 10mh/s vs your 500 kh/s he will prob find many blocks faster. Same with PoS. "Someone"like Mintpal has couple of million coins staking, so there's bound to be more then a few blocks going that way first.
Not to worry, you'll get yours. It'll take some time.

Cant unlock just for minting atm. Just unlock it for set period of time and after set amount of seconds it will go back to lock.

As for the price. It was 700 sat 1,5 days ago. Everyone here has been comparing this coin with Bc from day one. If you do that you have to do it properly. Look at it's history. You'll see that at one point BC was under 1000 just the same... (edit, bc was 500 at some point)  (and bc has less coins total even)
#2, PoW has just ended. And since it was 700 a day ago. Many people will sell at 13-1600 (they double up after all) Also, miners will have unloaded a bunch since price was nice.

As for my question. And word on ac.pool.mc? Still have my miner pointed there. But some additional info would be nice. Or any1 know of other ac multipool?

Close your wallet, then re-open it. Now go Help>Debug Window. Now select the Console tab.

Type the following at the bottom:


Replace the YourPassphrase with your own passphrase. (the encryption password you encrypted your wallet with) The 9999999 relates to the amount of seconds that you wish to leave the wallet open for staking. Once you have added this hit Enter.

You will see that the information was added correctly.

Important Now hit the Red bar next to where you entered your text, to clear the information from your console. CTRL + L will do the same thing. Don’t worry this won’t affect Staking, but it will prevent people who may have access to your machine or wallet looking at your wallets console window to see if there are any traces of your passphrase. Always clear any text that you add to the console for security purposes.

The text will have been removed now so close the console area by hitting the red X (top right - normal way to close a window)

Your wallet will now be open for Staking, but will still be encrypted, meaning that you will still have to input your encryption passphrase in order to send coins from your wallet.

Basically, this is the safest way of Staking.

Faircoin got dumped from 2700 down to 1400 for WEEKS before it went to 7k
As soon as the dev starts posting here about updates and multipool coin goes back up
As soon as people cashed out fluttercoin, coin wil go up

well sarcasm is working well ^^
just if he actually bought hundred s of thousands of coins then he can afford to wait a few months and see where price is going by slowly moving up his sell order with the price, making a good profit wherever it might end.
