dev dumping hidden premine? A dump like this so soon makes no sense.

No dumping here and no hidden pre-mine either, POW is not over yet so dumps are normal.

How do you explain what happened? And, to everyone following this, does the blockchain reveal anything about the truth on this?

"How do you explain what happened" HuhHuh?

Remember guys, this is a free market, I don't control what the people do with their coins.

If you want someone to control stuff like that, go to Forex, there you have the ECB and the FED blocking short selling to prevent further losses Wink

And let me remind you, this is the first day of trading with the coin in the final stages of POW.

And just in case you are wondering: I didn't dump anything.

And I can tell you, even when it gets my time to sell (which wont be soon) I will old my sell orders hard as steel and the buyers eat them.

When I came to this thread, I asked the following questions - for the more technical among us, could you list other questions and things one should look for in investigating coins to buy. Basically, what are all the things non-techies can easily look for (and easily find) to avoid getting scammed?

question from this noob to others who've been closely following this coin:

could anyone summarise what's special about it?
have the devs lived up to their promises?

Any hidden problems -
premines?
instamines?
well distributed? is there a rich list?
buggy code?
are these are hard core programmers, not "copy-paste" devs or middlemen? When bugs/fork challenge pop up, are they fixed quickly?
dev squabbles?
dev complacency?
missed deadlines?

Anything to worry about?

A couple things not on that list are a competent dev and whether the dev is anonymous or has been around. It's all hit and miss these days, but those 2 things will help weed out the obvious scams.

Thanks - I'm looking to make this list as comprehensive as possible - an instant "filter" for avoiding scam/instadump coins.

Dumps like THIS in the first 24 hours of being listed on bittrex are normal? That's the best you've got? LOL

Since dev log today someone is dumping big amouts of coins the price was befor rising and now only falling down ,it is not a surprise when you must dump 100000 coins or more.Anyway i know from the begin that this is shit but make some money on it ,good luck to coin holders.

Good for those that knew what this was from the beginning and still managed to make money. I just can't believe the sheer stupidity out there. Did people think they could get on this because they missed the BTCD train? LOL

Even before the dump was visible as that plunge in the chart, there was heavy selling going on during that "flat" period - even as the 24-hour BTC volume number kept soaring, the price stayed flat - because every rise was being surppressed by heavy selling for BTC. Whoever was selling (devs, the miners, both), they were selling heavily for a while, surpressing the price, before they decided to go for broke at the end, and killed the price (and the order book) totally.
