http://fuk.io - check it out!
Announcement
We been at 0% fee for all the last days and made literally 0,001 due to 1 person donating to us. You can see this here: http://cryptexplorer.com/address/GK99FTQo2KUi6brrWVoeQN26AF7qkzaKXo

Nobody else decided to donate so with difficulty jumping we have to put fee of %1 to keep servers running.
We also had one ddos attack which also costed us a bit.

Out of the donation we will be paying the fees of trasactions so manual payout was lowered to 0,001.

Pre-Ann was never edited to include premine, it had it from the beginning, as well said the launch was 5h earlier but we announced it on Twitter and on bitcointalk exactly at 12:00am UTC, the pool did not mine pre-release because release was at 12:00 am UTC not 5a.m. UTC. We changed the launch and everyone on twitter, bitcointalkforum, and IRC was notified. All a bunch of trolls spreading this garbage.

Are you serious? Why don't you just delete all the anti-astrocoin posts in this thread? I read it.

1. People are screaming "1.5% Premine Scam". Why should they do this, when it is officially 2.2%?
2. 8 hours before the official start date, people are asking, when is the real start date. Because on the website was a countdown with les sthan 3hours. A guy called bakedrice (afterwards a big advocate of the coin says confidently, it is still 5am, not 5 hours earlier).
altcoinguides calls himself as dev and claims, the start is on 5am.

So you fucked it up! Effectily a premine of 4.5%

This coin is a scam! 4.5% where already mined at the time of the announced and official start!!

This is NOT a self-moderated topic, you cannot just delete posts. We did this in the means to be completely transparent, unlike some of the other coins you may support

#1 There was a Pre-Mine of 2.2%, stop changing your numbers up.

#2 Launch was earlier and time was changed in advance on Website, Bitcointalk, announced officially on twitter and #astrocoin IRC room

We have even updated people on this already:

Due to the concerns all of you guys had regarding why we launched our pools at 12:00a.m. UTC, our wallets at 1:30a.m. UTC instead of at the planned time of 5a.m. UTC, we felt the need to directly address these concerns to reassure you in Astrocoin. First of all, to all the accusations out there that this early pool launch was somehow an "inside job" or was only for the "inside" people is utter and complete nonsense. In fact, we tweeted exactly 1 hour before we launched the pools that we would do so, the tweet can be found here: https://twitter.com/ASRCoin/status/425764202620280833

Up till that point, a little less than 1.5% of total supply (less than 3100 coins) were pre-mined. At 12 a.m. UTC, we notified the IRC channel on irc.altcoinweb.com #astrocoin and we updated the bitcointalk forum thread here, but it now appears not many paid attention. There were over 30 miners after the first minute of launch and it was a fair start, if you want confirmation, step into the IRC room and verify for yourself. The wallets were soon released 1.5h later at 1:30am UTC. We do understand your concerns and we are sorry for not being transparent enough, but under the given circumstances of that time, we were forced to launch the coin sooner than the initial given launch time. We believe in Astrocoin and our faith remains in it. We've reached a total network hashrate of over 500MH/s within the first few hours of launch, with hundreds of miners and thousands of wallet downloads. We are in the works with some very exciting projects with several people and will be launching services and site where you can use your Astrocoins. We are in the talks with several exchanges and plan to be publicly tradable in the near future looking forward in the next few weeks. We apologize once again if there was any misunderstanding of our intentions or if we caused you to doubt in us. We thank you for all your continued support and we look forward in patience and hope to the very exciting days ahead of us.

The website had the right release time, however it was localizing the countdown in people's local timezones which caused further confusion. Premine was only 2.2%, you cannot call it a pre-mine when pools are announced publicly on bitcointalk, twitter, IRC, and call that a pre-mine. Taking the ANNOUNCED early launch into consideration, pre-mine was only 2.2%. I believe we have addressed all issues regarding this several times before and we will not be re-visiting this issue again.

Hi,

is anyone willing to donate me 5 astrocoins. I've been mining on cryptopools for 8 hours without any payment. Is this pool a scam ?

Thank you.

5 astrocoins at current exchange rate is around $120  that's quite a "donation" you're asking for.

http://astrocoinpool.com/  home page says 0% fee in bold

But the transaction ledger shows fees are being charged.  The dashboard page says you are mining at 1% pool fee.

What gives?

edit--- i see they changed the homepage, it is now 1% fee.

yes, this is the best pool with no fees and smallest payout fees.
join this pool everybody so we can find more blocks!

and why ASR is on exchanges? because owneer of coin are bribing exchange owners with premined coins while KDC - a superb coin, just waits for its time.

OpenEx and CoinedUp Please Comment Here If You See this. Did I give either one of you a single Astrocoin to get up on your exchange? No, not one single ASR or BTC or any money, neither have we bribed. My challenge to Forzendiablo & anyone else, if you prove that we bribed or sent even 1 ASR to the exchange owners, you'll get a bounty of 10 BTC. Good luck.

So let's see:
1. This coin is an exact copy of Litecoin with changing a few values. Takes you 5min with checking it 5fold. (compiling is much more serious). Absolutely nothing new.
2. 3min block time. So why exactly should I use this over LTC, when it takes the same time for confirmations?
3. Premine is ok, but 2.2%. But ok, they say it officially. 3100blocks
4. Actucal premine is 6377. So 4.6%

What is the locical consequence for this coin? Yes, coinedup and coinex.pw add it only after 3days.
Did they add Qubit (different algo, no premine, 8hours with no block reward) or Klondike, which have huge support and out there for at least 2 weeks? No! They add astrocoin.

So, good job!

This is really a little frustrating. Astrocoin with 4.5% premine (they announced 2.2%) and nearly an exact copy of Litecoin, got added on coinex.pw and coinedup only after 3 days. 3/4 of the total supply is premined at the moment.
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.4715526

And the 10 000% value increase of Mooncoin in just 3-4 days? ...

Our Reply

Perhaps you should get your facts right, 2.2% premine, not 4.5%, 3100 blocks were mined until the launch at Jan. 22nd 12:00a.m. UTC. There were well over 50 miners at launch, over 300 miners after 30 min. of launch, the total supply is 140,000 coins, around 8000 blocks are mined as of now, thats 8000 coins total, if you can do your math right, 8000/140000 * 100 = 5.71% mined total so far
(That's how you calculate percentages FYI), Furthermore, http://coinex.pw does not have us up yet, only http://openex.pw and http://coinedup.com/ does. So basically most of what you stated is false, seems like you're trolling. Remember that a coin needs support from the community, not just a different algo, and other stuff. People love Litecoin and Bitcoin, hence why the ones built directly off them using their algo are most popular. Please get your facts straight so that you don't get caught with your pants down to your knees again.

huge percent of coins will be mined on day 1.

PS: Oh yeah, it was openex.pw, not coinex.pw (looks really similar). Sorry for that.

New version of 42coins  Huh
It seems like I miss the rich train again  Grin

The dev has learned something from 42coin mistake. Getting in cryptsy immediately a few days after launch only kills the coin faster because of multipool. With coinedup the dump volume is much lower and the buy order is smaller but the coin will live longer, hopefully. Cheesy
Diff is already 14 and the next is 50?
Thanks but I will pass this coin this time. Mining fedora looks more fun to me Cheesy

Is anyone else's client constantly "synchronizing with network"?    I have the full amount of blocks, matching the block explorer but the client shows estimate block total 470000 which is wrong.

It seems like the client is finding "peers" that are either other coins or otherwise don't belong.

Pretty sure it is finding litecoin clients and adding them as peers.   Looks like my litecoin client is also adding astrocoin clients as peers...
