Pre-Ann was never edited to include premine, it had it from the beginning, as well said the launch was 5h earlier but we announced it on Twitter and on bitcointalk exactly at 12:00am UTC, the pool did not mine pre-release because release was at 12:00 am UTC not 5a.m. UTC. We changed the launch and everyone on twitter, bitcointalkforum, and IRC was notified. All a bunch of trolls spreading this garbage.
Are you serious? Why don't you just delete all the anti-astrocoin posts in this thread? I read it.
1. People are screaming "1.5% Premine Scam". Why should they do this, when it is officially 2.2%?
2. 8 hours before the official start date, people are asking, when is the real start date. Because on the website was a countdown with les sthan 3hours. A guy called bakedrice (afterwards a big advocate of the coin says confidently, it is still 5am, not 5 hours earlier).
altcoinguides calls himself as dev and claims, the start is on 5am.
So you fucked it up! Effectily a premine of 4.5%
This coin is a scam! 4.5% where already mined at the time of the announced and official start!! This is NOT a self-moderated topic, you cannot just delete posts. We did this in the means to be completely transparent, unlike some of the other coins you may support#1 There was a Pre-Mine of 2.2%, stop changing your numbers up.
#2 Launch was earlier and time was changed in advance on Website, Bitcointalk, announced officially on twitter and #astrocoin IRC room
We have even updated people on this already:
Due to the concerns all of you guys had regarding why we launched our pools at 12:00a.m. UTC, our wallets at 1:30a.m. UTC instead of at the planned time of 5a.m. UTC, we felt the need to directly address these concerns to reassure you in Astrocoin. First of all, to all the accusations out there that this early pool launch was somehow an "inside job" or was only for the "inside" people is utter and complete nonsense. In fact, we tweeted exactly 1 hour before we launched the pools that we would do so, the tweet can be found here:
https://twitter.com/ASRCoin/status/425764202620280833 Up till that point, a little less than 1.5% of total supply (less than 3100 coins) were pre-mined. At 12 a.m. UTC, we notified the IRC channel on irc.altcoinweb.com #astrocoin and we updated the bitcointalk forum thread here, but it now appears not many paid attention. There were over 30 miners after the first minute of launch and it was a fair start, if you want confirmation, step into the IRC room and verify for yourself. The wallets were soon released 1.5h later at 1:30am UTC. We do understand your concerns and we are sorry for not being transparent enough, but under the given circumstances of that time, we were forced to launch the coin sooner than the initial given launch time. We believe in Astrocoin and our faith remains in it. We've reached a total network hashrate of over 500MH/s within the first few hours of launch, with hundreds of miners and thousands of wallet downloads. We are in the works with some very exciting projects with several people and will be launching services and site where you can use your Astrocoins. We are in the talks with several exchanges and plan to be publicly tradable in the near future looking forward in the next few weeks. We apologize once again if there was any misunderstanding of our intentions or if we caused you to doubt in us. We thank you for all your continued support and we look forward in patience and hope to the very exciting days ahead of us.
The website had the right release time, however it was localizing the countdown in people's local timezones which caused further confusion. Premine was only 2.2%, you cannot call it a pre-mine when pools are announced publicly on bitcointalk, twitter, IRC, and call that a pre-mine. Taking the ANNOUNCED early launch into consideration, pre-mine was only 2.2%. I believe we have addressed all issues regarding this several times before and we will not be re-visiting this issue again.
