Marketing is mostly taking a back seat to development, and there won’t be a big push until team delivers a main net version, which should be fairly soon. They should release a Ropsten beta first, followed by the main net version a couple of weeks after that.

Have not heard anything regarding marketing or seen efforts in this regards. What's happening with the project or do we look towards 2019 because of the Cryptocurrency market situation?

Based on Coinmarketcap, the last data recorded of Bitboost trading in May, even though I had waited almost 6 months but this token still had a very low trading volume

One major problem I saw is that their lack of marketing and decent exchange, if people will see liquidity, we will still surely see this trading live until now.
Unfortunately even the Cryptopia listing didn't do much in raising the price back up, and volume still sucks although with Cryptopia exchange, it is much better but if platform is fully released maybe we would see more changes

If you enter other channels, such as discord and telegram, the team says that it is developing and improving the platform, however, already ready and working.
The problem is however the lack of visibility; you can have the best platform and the best product but if nobody knows about it and you are not present in Coinmarketcap and better exchanges, your token is worthless and your investors will always be angry, including myself.
remember there is this dichotomy between utility value and pure speculation value.
basically all crypto projects that build some utility value beyond being pure monetary medium (BTC, LTC) are in the production phase right now, and none have been able to show anything in terms of real world usability at all yet.
so this is the production phase, as opposed to the speculation phase, which is over.
the ones that succeed in delivering on their goals -> MOON, the others -> toilet.
so Bitboost suffering from a lack of speculational hype is really not relevant to their ultimately delivering a working and successful product.
Now having said that: The platform is techincally very solid and already in advanced beta stages of development under a reliable and competent team, so I am very optimistic about it!
only Bitcointalk is not a forum for differentiated discussions, so this is why many projects have reduced the amount of energy they spend on this troll infested bilge...
You are absolutely right but mine is not simple speculation, ie I do not care that the team will finish the product soon and make it known because I want to multiply my investment x3-x5-x10; I would like it if it happens obviously but this is not the reason for my criticism.
I said it several months ago that Bitboost is an excellent product with a good team, and has the ENORMO advantage to be the first to develop and present its product to the market, but I fear that if it does not make fast others will follow and copy its example, thus losing the time factor that often means everything.
Think only if Amazon, Ebay or Alibaba come out with their own proprietary crypto that you can use in their channel; you would totally lose the time advantage, as well as having to fight with giants.

Just read that there is a working Dapp of Bitboost with its first version available for downloading. Next, and much better version will be ready in a few weeks as they are improving it.

I also witnessed the same as I sent some coins to that exchange and strange enough my transactions were successfully confirmed with over 1000 confirmations. Not until I contacted Cryptopia support before it was fixed. Hope they rectify this glitch soon.

Happy to review BitBoost on an exchange known and appreciated by many users ... cryptopia will be a small exchange but never gave problems to users and still guarantees good volumes to many coins and tokens.
I await with impatience and curiosity the final development of the platform; we hope that the team will then do good marketing to make it known!
I also observed I have to contact support to manually add my BBT token each time I transfer it to Cryptopia irrespective of whether the transaction is successful or pending.

Although Bitboost has not functioned as expected in terms of making investors happy, let's see how much this new listing would turn things around, am optimistic.
We cannot expect some growth at this stage, bitcoin is going down, people won't buy even if altcoins has good news. The most important is they will important, in the long run they will be able to be appreciated with their hard work and the value of the tokens will grow.

I guess they have to release the new desktop version first, and see how that goes, what the demand is like, what additional features users demand immediately, etc.
The team will do their best and I am sure they have done research on which platform will be launched first. We only wait for a while because everything takes time as long as it is in accordance with the road map created
If there is I am sure the volume is pretty low because we are not listed anymore in coinmarketcap, they have to make a balance development.
As for development, I am pretty sure they haven't been sleeping either and constantly brainstorming what strategies and upgrades they need to introduce into their platform.
