Where is the project based? I noticed you stated that it would be in English and German.

What are you trying to achieve with your project? I see there is no ICO or token. Can you explain to me the reason for your project? I like the concept of collecting items on the blockchain.

bd300 is based in Liechtenstein. There is no ICO or token because what we want to achieve with this project is: 1) to create a game that people will have fun playing; 2) celebrate the 300 year anniversary of Liechtenstein, our home country; 3) create a showcase for blockchain that is engaging and understandable for the general public in order to help educate people about how this technology functions.

We all believe in blockchain, and Liechtenstein has been an early adopter of favorable regulations for this technology. So a game celebrating both is really a no-brainer!

Thanks for the response and the information.

I have another question, it states that you can get the photos not only online, but offline can you elaborate that more? How would I be bale to get get the product offline when it's on a blockchain system?

good question  Smiley there is paper wallets available in stores with a hidden private key on. Just scratch and scan  Cheesy

I watched your video and you talked about the photos holding value, how do the photos hold value in the future? I don't understand how you can make that statement, could you give me more information?

It's an interesting system you are creating.

By value, we mean the card's "perceived value" in the wider in-game marketplace. Due to scarcity, some cards will be rarer than others and will therefore be more valuable, thanks to principles of supply and demand. Owners of these rarer cards will be able to negotiate better trades for the cards they still need to fill up their album.

How long does it take to fill the whole photo album?

How does it exactly work? Can I just purchase a file everyday? Or do I need to wait for the file to be released?

How long it takes to fill an album is up to you and the market. You can choose to keep buying packs of cards if you wish, however this will alter the cards value in the wider marketplace because of supply-demand principles. The more challenging way to play is to trade your way up by exchanging your rarer cards for ones you don't already have.

I'm a little confused about the concept and meaning behind your project.

Also I don't get it as there isn't a token nor a ICO, aren't most people just here to find new altcoins to invest in?

You're exactly right, a lot of people are just here to invest in alt coins. But that's a big part of the reason bd300 exists. We wanted to show that blockchain technology has many important applications outside of crypto, and built the game as an exhibition piece to help educate people about the fundamentals of blockchain in a fun and non-threatening way.

Why did you decide to only accept fiat for your product? I think you should incorporate the ability to buy your collection with the strong cryptos such as bitcoin, ETH etc.

I think because you are already connected to the blockchain industry this makes sense. Also do you have any bounties going on? Maybe a could write articles to collect your product?

bd300 is powered by CoreLedger technology, and runs on its own closed blockchain. Since bd300 is like an exhibition project for how blockchain (rather than cryptocurrency) works and what it can do, in a playful environment, we decided it would be safer and easier for people new blockchain & crypto if we kept the payment system fiat, and focused on the blockchain technology itself. This is also why we don't have our own token or bounties.

If you are interested in bd300, feel free to share it with your friends and followers.

Very interesting idea and I like that you are combining gamification with education, it's a win win combination.

I've looked on your website, Is there really only 2 people behind this project? If not I would add the other employees / advisors as it will build confidence. A lot of people like to see a strong team and it gives them confidence to use your platform.

Since bd300 isn't like your typical ICO or token project, we chose to just feature our project's founders on the site. But naturally we have an amazing team from engineers to artists to translators all working to create a fantastic experience. Check out our telegram channel (https://t.me/bd300) for views from behind the scenes, including more about our team.

Interesting project. I like that you are not just shooting for an ICO like every single project.

How long has the project been in operation? and are you planning to maybe expand it to other nations / collaborate with other nations. I think it would be pretty cool if you got involved with the governments in regards to museums etc.

bd300 has been in the works since early 2018. You're definitely right about governmental collaboration, and it's something we have been working on. One of the reasons this project is possible is because of Liechtenstein's recent 'Blockchain Act" which set in place helpful, pro-blockchain legal frameworks, something most other countries don't have. A couple weeks ago we even got to pitch our project to the Prince of Liechtenstein! You can see pictures of the occasion on our telegram channel: https://t.me/bd300

Seems a very interesting project and I like what I am hearing.

Do you have an explainer video or a white paper to explain the process in detail?

Thanks! Check out our explainer video and intro article here: https://medium.com/bd300/welcome-to-bd300-16eded16faed

What blockchain do you use on your project?

Is it ERC-20? I am assuming that I can only purchase the items using ETH, is that correct?

bd300 is powered by CoreLedger technology, and running on its own self-contained blockchain. In fact, no cryptocurrencies or tokens can be used in-game. Instead, players use fiat currency to buy starter packs of cards, and then start trading.

Great question! We want as many people as possible to be able to play, so we are launching on both iOS and Android, with both English and German language editions!

Sounds very exciting!

Do you have an expected time when the app will be ready? I am very excited to hear this news. I have been following your project for a while now.

We are expecting to launch April 10th!
