Hello everyone!
I know great many people, most, are wondering about the future of XBC, whether devs are sticking through and things like that.
As many of you know, I've personally among few others (most notably Azor) taken some initiative in effort to re-organize BitcoinPlus community / active members and get the project back towards... you know... a future that is not "dead".
We've also had a small and semi constant influx of people who are asking us if they could give out some of their ideas they have been coming up with.
And as some of you already know also that we are soon to collect a first round of ideas from people who have told us they would love to help.
But now to the thing which inspired to create this post on the first place:
Just moments ago I was just discussing on
#xbc with Oldnoob about XBC and I would like to share this to give perspective into the heads of people who cannot shake their "Plus-loving".
Oldnoob started the conversation:
"I think the only thing XBC needs right now are some dedicated dev's who proof to be trustful. Even if price drops to almost 0. Witch I think you guys are."
The very first thought in my mind was: "Well, I truly hope we can live up to that expectation"
The first thought was slightly hesitant, but then it was strongly overridden by: "Yeah, well, why the hell not!"
I felt encouraged to just start writing from purely my own point of view:
Well, for me personally, I just kind of love XBC… I don’t really mind at all if the price would drop 10 times lower… The money I have there… Well, I think about it in a way that it either gives nothing back OR it is a really good and successful investment. That is realistic to my assessment of the scenario here and thus I have no worry about it.
And also that I have a long term plan of investing in it anyway, so it doesn’t really affect my judgement either direction… If I get money, cool, and more is of course fun, but strangely enough, I don’t really care at all about how much… Probably because I have other simultaneous ways to get money at the moment anyway.
All I know that I love the open ended potential here… The foundation is good, name good, numerics awesome… All we need to do is to organize a good willed, healthy, fun, effective organization with a vision and we’ll have such a great time with this project for even years to come!
To which Oldnoob responded:
I think the same way CY. I've got a serious amound of XBC. I can tell my kids and maybe grandkids I was part of the start of new history.
I got some other coins to gamble with.

yeah, my gut just tells that XBC can become something really awesome… So even if I didn’t get any pay I just want to be there and see what happens with it… It’s like watching it like some soft of digital baby getting born and growing up
Exactly - the market is saturated with trading instruments and some interesting investments as well.
XBC is what you do for love.

Now, the thing is - and the point is...
That this is not the first one of these same warm toned mini-discussions about XBC I've heard. Not at all.
We've heard these kinds of small conversations every now and then while hanging around on #xbc chan.
This kind of thinking was actually quite prevalent and pretty much everywhere ever since after IPO until the point the organization stopped holding itself together.
As the way I see it, last time the organizational structure, perhaps not even the people themselves even, ended up creating ever multiplying bottlenecks pretty much everywhere: information didn't flow, creativity got stalled and it just snowballed.
I sincerely hope this time we can bring back XBC as a community based effort without those type of "control-boundaries".
So this time at least, based on the discussions with the most active people around, the active individuals are very aware of what went wrong last time and how to avoid those mistakes again by redesigning it open, transparent, creative and actionable. (Let's hope for some epic ideas too!
)
