How about trying to get a service like Uber or Lyft to adopt this for payment or rewards?  Huh

Great idea !! Thanks for the suggestion, siampumpkin. We will get in touch with them (as well as other alternatives to them).

As for the potential partnerships we have lined up already ... we should be hearing back from them, this coming week (Monday 5th January).

Updates will be posted here.

Hold your BTMi guys Smiley don't sell too cheap just yet !

Hi Folks

Briehost will now be accepting BitMiles as an alternative payment method for their services. Simply get in touch with Briehost via their support tickets if you're looking to spend some BTMi with them (until we are added to their payments). This goes to show that BitMiles is a versatile digital currency that is not limited to a particular sector only! https://www.briehost.com/

In other news ...

We have been in touch with a few merchants that are interested in adding BitMiles as an alternative payment method (one of them being a travel agency and another one being a resort). We hope to wrap up a few partnerships within the next week or two. Details will be posted to this thread as we progress.

Keep an eye on BitMiles  Smiley

hurry up and pump this dirt to 100 so I can never think about it again.  thank you

lol, pretty much sums it up.

for all of you that think this piece of software will one day be at the pinnacle of aviations customer satisfaction: wont happen because there will never be demand from the aviation industry since frequent flyer miles are nothing more than the result of a calculation that can be done with a calculator and as such has long and wide been integrated into existing systems.

Also, frequent flyer miles are non-transferrable. Think about that.

About 45 million coins have been DESTROYED of the premine. This occurred in transaction d6ab6f201c62c2a73981fc6f981a80742d552408bc70d53df30254a1e67a2727. This drops the premine down to a much more reasonable 5 million coins, which while still somewhat large, is no longer years worth of mining.

Still, there is a premine there even if some of it *was* destroyed. I have yet to hear good reasoning (besides scammy excuses) as to why a premine is ever really necessary now. Ditto for IPO's.

Yeah, but that is tiny!  I've mined 500k myself in just a few days.  Hardly obnoxious and they have already been paying out for bounties.  I really don't see the issue  Huh

It is a very tiny bit. They have destroyed the majority of the primed coins and using the remaing small tiny bit that left for hosting, giveaways, etc... see no issue here. Please close this topic as it's no point to drag it anymore.

Sorry, I don't take advice from noobs with a post count of 4. (Let the sock puppetry begin)

It wasn't an advice but a statement. You don't like it no one is asking you to stay. There is 300+ other coins. Have fun.

My statement still stands.  While I agree that premines and ICO's are in general pretty scammy things to do, there simply isn't enough there to be much of a scam

Good. Let's stick to the current financial system and just like governments make money appear out of thin air.
