Namecoin is now ready for cross-chain dapps with the Blocknet Protocol!




Now that namecoin is compatible with the Blocknet Protocol, it can be used in cross-blockchain dapps and traded on beta Block DX!

The setup is in the process of being automated/abstracted so it's much easier and streamlined to use for beginners. In addition to that, in July we are planning to release SPV support which will allow for the creation of litewallets so whole blockchains will not need to be downloaded.

Weird. Blocknet pretty much announced that they solved the interoperability problem, but market does not care. It's literally the biggest problem with blockchain, bigger than the scalability issue.

How i can get the roadmap of this prpject?

I don't think you can put Bitcoin in the same rank as other altcoins, you can not say Bitcoin stays on top because it has something different then other coins. It is simply THE coin. Everything else is there just to make speculative gain for traders. It is irrelevant if you have 2.000 or 20.000 altcoins, their value is expressed how many satoshies they are worth on exchanges, while Bitcoin is expressed in what people perceive as "money". It is irrelevant if new coins are created with some new property, there is only one true coin to rule them all.

Really very good community support. By the way, it is constantly growing and developing. I wonder how much this year we can expect an increase in the price per token?

Cool example to show Blocknet is not just a DX.

We don't think there is no more place for a new coin. We actually think it's the opposite. The more coin release the better. The best one with the best project and the best community will live and prosper. All the rest will die. This is what create innovation. Every new technology work like that. It's the same with cryptocurrencies.

Bitcoin, litecoin, dogecoin are all here to stay because they have something different from the rest. Our goal is to do the same.
