I've been seeing you guys a lot of Reddit. It's a good sign, everyone is talking about you.

Bloom seems super pro-active, have you guys been to any blockchain conferences?

It is, but it's also bad later on when they dump all those tokens right at launch.

I just wanted to say you guys have been killing it on your road map. Super ambitious timeline, but somehow delivering on it every step of the way. Keep it up!

What different here between similar project (paypie)? In addittional cards?

I think there should be a bounty campaign for project promation ,especially signature campaign ,will be good for project movement .

Do you guys have any video marketing materials?

I think this is for the best in the end. I could see contributors and referrals staying on for the long term more than a bunch of guys from 3rd world countries doing bounties to feed their families.

I don't think you saw this one when you were answering questions. Really curious about all the innovation possibilities.

I don't think our attestation marketplace rules out the possibility of something like Civic or uPort hooking into our system and providing their services in a way that fits into the Bloom protocol as well. Owning the identity layer means it can mesh more tightly with other design considerations of the protocol. For example, right now the design includes providing your birthday, encrypting it, and attaching it to your BloomID. The Bloom protocol then uses this as a simple check when doing an peer stake (is John's birthday actually January 1, 1990?) and we can also require it be provided during an attestation that includes date of birth using the birth you provided on signup.

So while Civic and uPort could probably be mixed into our system without much pain, I don't think it would make sense to say "the identity layer is handled by X protocol we don't own" because identity is a broad concept.

Whitelist Update: Thank you for everyone who participated! The whitelist was incredibly competitive, we greatly appreciate everyone who submitted an application! If you received a position on the whitelist, you should’ve receive a confirmation email from [email protected] detailing next steps.

We included over a dozen factors in the whitelist ranking including:
* Are you active in Slack? Email Newsletter? Twitter? Follower on Medium?
* Date that you joined the whitelist, email newsletter and Slack. (Earlier was given priority)
* Slack Activity
* Referrals
* Social Activity
* Contributions
* Form Submissions & Manual Assessment
* Introductions provided to the Bloom team
* Quality of discussion online and in community rooms

How high did I need to rank to get a position on the whitelist? Bloom has over 50,000 total community members. About 12,000 of these community members submitted a whitelist application and confirmed their position. Broadly speaking, the top half of contributors whitelist applications were given a position on the whitelist.

My Ranking was <> why did/didn’t I get a spot? Our final algorithm does not necessarily reflect the ranking visible on the website. While their is a strong correlation, some people with a low ranking were given a whitelist spot upon final scoring. Others towards the top did not necessarily make the cut upon final calculation

Please note: We've been getting a ton of DM's and emails from people who didn't make it. Unless you feel there is a significant error, please hold off from messaging us and recognize that we went through all applications in details and the cutoff is final.

If you did not make the whitelist: You can still participate in the token sale! The public token sale opens at 9am PST (5pm GMT) on November 30th. We expect demand to be very high, so the best option is to be prepared ahead of time.
