We have a situation with bminer's error handling and NVML. Sometimes bminer can't get the proper response from NVML (fan, temp, power) for some cards and shows the misleading 1C/1W/1% stats. It would be much clearer to show them like 'N/A'.

For some reason getting very low hashrate - 20Mh/s (vs 32Mh/s on phoenix miner) on RX580 on ethash. Am I missing something?
Sapphire RX 580 8GB Pulse.
2125 MHz memory 1150 MHz core
Claymore 30.7 mhs
Bminer 29.8-30.1 mhs
No issues here.

Same error here on a fresh win10 and fully patched install with Nvidia drivers 436.30

but wait, there is no free work! there is developer fee integrated into the miner and it is mentioned on the first page of this topic.
so it is ok to ask developer to fix bugs, and I assume it is in the interests of developers to fix it as well, cause that would mean stable work of miners and more dev fee..
also profit from gpu is still there, all you need for that low price for electricity ( or free electricity)

when already fix the miner
? why it works only on "selected" nvidia drivers ... an error falls out in the rest ...
roll back to old drivers again? where is the solution to the problem

Hello I would like to try Bminer, but it fails to start, I get this message:
Failed to initialize the CUDA platform: CudaError: Could not initialize the NVML library. Miner died! It will be restarted soon. (etc)
I get this for every coin I try to mine.
I'm using Bminer v.15.7.6 (full version)
My configuration is:
Windows 10
2x NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 ti
cuda_10.1.168_425.25 installed
Does anybody know what can be the problem?
(other mining software, like the grin gold miner, doesn't have this problem)

This ^^, altough I have only one 2080ti with CUDA 10.1 and regular 431.68 on it... It seems to fail initializing CUDA library...
Edit: Tried with 431.70 DCH driver, still same result-" Could not initialize the NVML library".
thanks for the information, this is a known issue, we are working on the fix, thanks for the detailed information which helped a lot.
Found the work arround NVML, got a new problem...

How can I enable a bminer (beam,BTG,ZEC............) with a mixed miner AMD and NVIDIA I am new so please be understanding. I work on ubuntu. HiveOS. for help thank you.
