Hello,  The first 5 cards on my 12 card rig seem to be nerfed mining grin29.  The first 5 cards are getting 3.3g/s and the other 7 are getting 4.6g/s.  I have tried everything including stock settings, OC settings, swapping risers, wires and slots.  No matter what the configuration, I cannot get the first 5 cards in the mining console to budge from that 3.3g/s.  I am missing roughly 10% of my hashrate.  Anyone have any ideas?  Has this occurred in the past?  I am using latest version of bminer, windows 10 (stripped, and plenty of virtual memory), Cuda 9.2.  with 12 nvidia gtx 1070 hybrids.  Each of these cards benchmark the same and I have not seen this behavior before mining other coins.  Please help as I am stumped.  Thanks.
Try G-Miner as well.

What CPU you have on MB? As far as I know, with more cards on the same MB, for Grin mining you need a more powerful CPU. Or mine with 6 and then with the other 6, see where you are...

Sorry, I didnt get time to read through whole blog. Is there a way to mine only with nvidia cards on mixed rig? parameter perhaps?

Specify the number of NVIDIA graphics cards for the parameter "devices" . Here's what it says on the miner's website:
Quote
"You can specify which cards that Bminer should mine on using the -devices options. While Bminer runs on the NVIDIA cards by default, you can prefix the device IDs with amd: to run on AMD cards."

@realbminer I want to ask you about Aeternity for beepool with choise of PPS or PPLNS reward methods. Have you supported this way because by default i see on beepool only PPS is supported via bminer and can be used for it. For example HSPMiner can use the both methods. You just have to put Rig_Name@PPS(PPLNS) in conf command or .bat file and it works.

Bminer also supports PPLNS mining AE on beepool, please try by put Rig_Name@PPLNS.

Are you sure with this features? Why i'm asking. In the conf command you use @ symbol to separate Rig_Name with pool address like this -
-uri aeternity://[email protected]:9505 . Are you sure if i use another one "@" symbol BMiner will recognize it as separate symbol for PPLNS? So can i use this command line "-uri aeternity://ak_aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.Mine1@[email protected]:9505" and will it work?

And another one question what is the Dev fee for AE? As for Ethereum Token - 0.65% or as for many other - 2%?

P.S. second "@" works for PPLNS reward scheme activation, thanks a lot. In my opinion you should write about it in your manuals or FAQ on your official website and here also. What about dev fee for Aeternityt?

EVGA Black 2080Ti: +180/+600/75%PL for 1.96 G/s. It will actually go above 2.2 G/s at 85%PL on its own, but not in the 6-card mixed 2080Ti/2070/1080Ti/1080 rig with a cheap CPU it is currently running in.

Grin31 (and grin29) is a compute intensive algo so you do not need to overclock your memory. Since GPU memory is the first component to fail during prolonged mining, I suggest you underclock memory to the lowest it would go. ALso, leave the core on auto - Nvidia GPU's do a pretty good job of ocing to the highest clocks possible within the thermal and power limits - the only setting you need is a power limit of 75% and a temp limit of 80c.

That is not my understanding from the whitepaper, but I'm no technical expert. All I know is my hashrate is lower when my memory clock is lower and the same is true of the core clock.

can anyone help with this error.

running ubuntu 18.04, cuda 10.1, drivers 430.26, 5x1080's

machine was running without fault for a good 9 months. then yesterday the miner started playing up(i believe the error is cuda upgraded from 10 to 10.1). Bminer and Gminer bother wont start

i am differently running 430.26 ubuntu linux drivers

did you try 410-415-418 drivers ?

Prior to posting i had purged the NVIDIA drivers and cuda. and installed earlier versions.

It turned out, when i tried to run NVIDIA-smi, reported back it couldn't run due to insufficient voltage. i removed  all video card and rebooted till i found the GPU causing the dramas.

In the end, the issue was noting to do with drivers or cuda, just a GPU had partial failed(currently in a different machine, flashed the bios and the GPU has been up for 6 hours). i have previously had issues with the fan failing on this card Galax/KFA2 GTX 1080.

Fail to plan, and you plan to fail.

Can someone share thier stable overclocks for Cuckoo31 on 1080ti and 2080ti ??
Thx!!!
Core +100
Memory +500
Power Limit 210 W
Model: Gigabyte Aorus 1080ti
hash rate 1.55 G/s at cuckatoo31

i have 1080ti MSI
memory overclocking >200 causes driver crash on different driver versions on ubuntu 18
how you do that ?
at the same time i set +100 on core and +0 on memory and card gives stable 1.6 on 31 algo

Then you are luckier than me. If it's stable then don't try to fix it Smiley)
Different cards different settings...

@realbminer
Today installed fresh Ubuntu 16.05 . Also the Nvidia 390 drivers and cuda toolkit .
The system itself running fine (tested few miners) .
However when i start your and i get immediately : Illegal instruction (core dumped) (No matter what algo) .
What are the MUST needed packages for your miner to work ?
