Slack is a thing of the past already after bugs were leaked. Most crypto channels now are using telegram which is cool as it is also very fast and easy to use. Discord is growing but I still prefer telegram as it is simple and light.

I agree with you about that, telegram really is a good choice. Every project must have telegram channel. Wink

You can run a node if you freeze at least 40,000 BOS and have a stable internet connection. You can run the node software on your own computer or on a virtual machine, even a Raspberry Pi could do. Only Linux and Mac will be supported at first, Windows will follow later.

For more detailed information on the technical aspect, please refer to the white paper and technical paper. These blog posts (part 1 and part 2) on the ISAAC consensus protocol is also informational.

Running a node will be possible once the MainNet is launched, but we will be able to try it out once TestNet launches in June 2018. Instructions on how to run a node will also be provided.
