They aren't that expensive. We can build them for about $25. This was a prototype model so it was closer to $50. We will be giving them away for free to all new businesses who sign up for a premium profile package

Introducing the Bravo Beacon!

One problem that plagues traditional review platforms that we hope to curb with BravoCoin are fraudulent reviews. We feel one of many steps to take in achieving that feat is implementing a proof-of-location algorithm.

We will be giving these Bravo Beacon devices to businesses that sign up for our premium profile packages. It will allow for them to offer "verified check-ins" and "verified reviews" within the app as we will detect the presence of the Bravo Beacon.

If your phone is within proximity of the beacon at the business, we will mark you as verified.

This also allows businesses the opportunity to drop coins at their place of business and only allow for pickup by verified customers 😃

This is how we will encourage businesses to use BRAVO and adopt it, and also give it away to attract new and existing customers.

I've been testing the beacon and it works well! I can detect it on my phone all throughout my office, but once I go about 5-7 feet outside the front door, it no longer detects it. This is perfect for proving location!
