I would eat that newly appeared wall in a heartbeat if I had spare BTC. I do hope people with BTC call their bluff and rekd the seller, cause we are going much higher.

For the smart buying that much in bulk at this stage is a gift imo.

How much for now it will cost to run a masternode?

25,000 x 8,350 sat = 2.09 BTC

Greetz
Steve

Now for 1 BSD Masternode

25,000 x 19,000 sat = 4.76 BTC

I like to setup a masternode on a VPS. I did not find any information on the minimum needed hardware specifications. How much RAM, CPU, Harddrive do I need?
The blockchain is very small at the moment, less than 1 GB of HDD. RAM & CPU usage are trivial, where CPU usage is only usually higher during the initial synchronization time.

Can anyone recommend a specification? Example which plan of these would be suitable?

The S plan would work (probably even XS), although I'd personally go with M.

If you only host a masternode on this server a S pack is enough, but when blockchain raise etc. a M Pack is better for a long term.

Why can't I run a monsternode on my Mac wallet? Don't tell me I need to buy a goddamn Windows laptop

bitsend have no a mac wallet  Undecided
don't tell me if you forget a vmware. if you are using mac computer, you can download vmware fusion http://www.vmware.com/cz/products/fusion.html

I'm run a masternode just require a two technical ways, that is wallet problem and modem (port forwarding)

  • Wallet

    • in this example, I'm using Windows XP with RAM 1GB. you can decrease to 526 or 256 MB, because bitsend wallet is not require a much RAM.\
    • the configure of wallet like masternode genkey, filling 25000 to your wallet, include turn on a port 8886 you can look in http://bitsend.info/forums/index.php?topic=11.0 page

  • PORT FORWARDING
    • In this case, I'm using mikrotik
    • Go to : IP > Firewall > Tab NAT > Click Add
    • On Tab Action, you fill with information of your computer
    • On General Action, you fill your IP Public and port similar in Tab Action

  • On your wallet, Go to debug console, give a command "masternode start" and finish

be helpful Smiley
