Hi guys.

Can i join Bitsend promotion campaign with avatar only? Is there another topic specifically about signature campaign? (i'm searching for it but couldn't find it).

Another question.. is it possible to join both avatar campaign here on bitcointalk and giveaway on Bitsend's forum?

Thanks

I was trying to setup a Masternode but I'm getting 'not capable masternode: Could not find suitable coins!'

I sent 5000 BSD to the address that 'getaccountaddress 0' outputted.

So it is 5000 BSD to setup a masternode?

Send exactly 25000 BSD to the address in your wallet.

Simple guide on how to create a masternode:

This guide is for user without server.

Start your BitSend wallet.

Go to ->Tools->Debug ->Console and write getaccountaddress 0. Copy the address and
send exactly 25000 BSD to the address in your wallet.

Go to ->Tools->Debug ->Console
type the following and hit Enter:

Code:
masternode genkey

Copy the result and place that in the bitsend.conf file below: (Go to ->Tools->Open Configuration File)

Code:
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcuser=YourUserName
rpcpassword=YourRPCPassword
server=1
daemon=1
listen=1
masternodeaddr=YOUR_IP:8886
promode=1
masternode=1
masternodeprivkey=KEY GENERATED BY COMMAND masternode genkey
addnode=107.170.2.241
addnode=45.58.51.22
addnode=104.207.131.249
addnode=68.197.13.94
addnode=109.30.168.16
addnode=31.41.247.133
addnode=37.120.190.76

Port 8886 must be open. (Check your router and Firewall)

Restart your wallet and go back to Help/Debug/Console
Type the following and hit enter:

Code:
masternode start

* Give your Masternode a few minutes, and check if it's up in the Masternode list

Do not use your local IP address (127.0.0.1), use your external IP address. If you do not know what it is
write "what is my IP" in google search and you will see it.

Note: You need ever the correct IP. The most provider have a dynamic IP. The master node must be online 24/7.

I'm currently mining this coin... I think as a CPU-miner ONLY coin, this is best return compare to others.  Grin

can you tell us what cpu / how many coins by 24h? Are we have some statistics anyway?

PS. @Limx Dev - signature updated.

Sorry that I did not record down the statistic. I was comparing to XMG. Here I attached my BSD earned in last 4 days by using my CPU i7 2600 3.4GHz, 12 hours per day, 4 threads only for mining (CPU = 8 threads).

BTW, actually I started mining ~7 days ago, but zpools.ca recognize my wallet ID as INFX  Cry

Bitsend is really hard to mine.. /-;

No risk, no fun!
From time to time, I post, how you can backup your desktopwallet. Thanks to barrystyle, that he introduced his Mooncoiners!

Backing up your wallet.dat can be done two different ways.
The first
With your BitSend client not loaded; open your Start Menu, and via Run or Explorer, go to the path '%appdata%' (this is equivalent to using Explorer to find 'C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming').
From here, open 'BitSend'. You will find 'wallet.dat' in this folder. Take a copy and store it in a safe location (encrypted USB disk/partition is ideal).
The second
From within the BitSend wallet itself, select the 'File' menu and then choose 'Backup Wallet'.

Exporting your private keys can be done via the following method:
Open the debug console, enter the command 'listaddressgroupings'. This will list all of your public keys which have/or have had a balance. Feel free to copy the output to somewhere easier to work with it.
From here, any address which contains a significant balance; select and copy its address (without the quotes) and enter the following into Debug:
Code:
dumpprivkey
BitSend will list the private key for you, copy this information into a file and save to a safe location (same as above, encrypted USB disk/partition).

Do not leave your private keys laying around; and do not post them here, nor message them via privmsg etc - anyone who has this key can import and take your funds.

Hmm, how many coins is needed for a masternode?
I found various numbers around, and tried with 5000 to setup some nodes.
Getting the error about no suitable coins..

IW

Hello incognitoworker,

you need 25000 BSD for a masternode.
