The founders must understand one elementary thing - until they don't make a decision to block systems like NiceHash - their startup is doomed to failure, like all the other forks.
This is not a decentralized system, it is much worse than an ASIC.
1 person rents huge capacity of HASH and in a few days puts all the capitalization through exchangers.

how do you block systems like nicehash?

it's possible to see hash power of miners on node side?  If it possible - need find way in code to reduce block reward for miner with super power (for example >10% of NetHash). It's also rebalance power between pools. And yes minting system.

This is all done already and called PPLNS payout scheme... Nicehash renters won't profit on PPLNS Pools... Nicehash only works good on Prop pools where they get the most of the reward of the last round

are you running PPLNS on suprnova ? I haven't taken the time to look....
Hi dev,
Thanks for your great work till now. Do you have plans for signature campaign?

which coins are competitors to BTCZ?

there are so many forks of Zcash, that i am a little confues what they bring better then zcash? maybe i just do not understand :S. well, definetly the name is good Smiley.

Zcash and all their clone(forks) are realy sucks - you can't save you wallet in safe - there is no encription or any protection in wallet - it's plain text - anyone can easily still it. You can't use Z adress (The main advertised advantage -  zero information)  in most services, it work only in full node and it's very slow.

i saw that main adversited advantage is is Z adrees, but everywherw is only a public adress. so if i understand you corectly, also BTCZ is sucks...or you wanted to say, that btcz is way better then other forks? There is really to much forked coines with no added value.

i was mining hush from the beggining, know i am not sure, if they can deliver what they sad...BTCZ is a little different, but today as so many coins outthere, i am not sure if btcz can find the place for usabilly...but...
thanks for your informative post. It clarifies lots of information about BitcoinZ

you add a minting system to it.. if you mine a coin, you have to hold it for 30 days before cashing

ok so if I buy Nicehash and get 100,000 coins I just wait 30 days to dump them right? Please give me your thoughts I don't see the connection between minting and mitigating the effects of nicehash.

No one will invest in nicehash with such a delay in withdrawal. With a high degree of probability renter will go into negative profit.

Now they see the price of a coin, take a rent and in 2-5 hours they receive a huge amount of coins and bring down the market. It is difficult to predict the price for a long time (for example month), so as to risk fo rent.

ANNOUNCEMENT

Everyone keeps asking "when's the next exchange?" or "any updates what's next?"  if you want to see 'next' you have to donate.

We're 61 or so days old - moved very quickly.  Also, we're going through the first phase of slow growth since all the early adopters are being shaken out.  Those early adopters that were able to mine millions of coins are also just trying to make a quick buck.  All projects will have that - that will end eventually but we need to go through the growth phases.

One of the major implementations for further securing the network is being worked on - and that is more infrastructure decentralization.  The Copay ported wallet (MyBitcoinZ) relies on heavy infrastructure and community members in #developers @ Slack / Discord are working on making docker images and distribution packages so anyone with the resources can add more API endpoints for the wallet.  This does not affect the core node wallet, those will always work since they are the core of the blockchain.

There is work in development / progress if you saw the 60 day update: https://connect.bitcoinz.global/forum/todo-lists/379-bitcoinz-day-60-community-updates-11-08-2017

We cannot do this without donations.  We can donate directly, or you can participate in the mining rounds we are conducting.  We are currently in Round 2.

That's how we can get to 'whens the next exchange' or 'any updates what's next?'.  It's the ONLY way.  If you only ask what can be given to you, then you need to pitch in if you want 'the next exchange'.  Otherwise, you won't see it.

"Ask not what the BitcoinZ Community can do for you, but what can you do for your BitcoinZ Community"

?!?!??!?!?!?!?!??!?!??!  Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked

Have a little respect for this community, thanks to which you earn money, too much money! So you can only talk to your mother!

Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry

Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed, How can even say such a thing! Cryptorex has been working his ass off for the community! Dont be so disrespecful like that!

It goes both ways, mining is not free and the people mining and holding is a big part of the community.  When some information is asked for it's because they are interested in the project.

It's difficult knowing whats going on when the information is spread out over many platforms like Twitter, Facebook, Telegram, Slack, Reddit, Discord, etc.  Maybe just keep it in one place and share it from there, because there is a lot more being discussed for instance in Slack then on the forum where most newcomers come for information.  The community is really trying to make something of this coin and I have the utmost respect for everyone trying to help.

Just my two cents....
