Seriously, if you're running windows try this:

1) Go to your bitcoinz wallet directory from command prompt
2) run "zcashd -reindex"

Let it sync.

3) Download the Android wallet
4) Create address and send your btcz to the adroid wallet and continue to mine to it

@SuprnovaPools seems that you are running a $BTCZ dns-seeder on http://zdash.suprnova.cc that used to be a $HUSH dns-seed, which is causing a lot of people to have problems syncing their wallets, causing InvalidChainFound errors and more. bitcoinzseeder:0.01 is on the Hush chain!

I think TradeSatoshi is one of the most respectable exchanges based out of the UK. Of course it does not look pretty.

stocks.exchange is made by a guy named Ryan. Doesnt look like he cares much about the project but at least its a real person behind it. It took me a week to withdraw my coins which meanwhile dropped to half in price so he did cost me a lot of money as I tried to do arbitrage (which probably he did with my money).

Also Cryptopia is respectable in my opinion, based out of New Zealand. But they dont have BTCZ listed.

bter.com closed because of Chinese pressure and is now called gate.io. I used it years ago and never had an issue. They continuously emailed me warning me about bter closing and asked me to remove all my coins. I give them a lot of credit for that.

The next exchange to walk away with everyone's money claiming they got "hacked" is going to be HITBTC, Bittrex or Bitfinex.

This means it relies on servers to access the blockchain since downloading the whole blockchain and making transactions via the blockchain is too much fro a phone. If the servers are offline for maintenance, you won't be able to access your coins (they will still be there, safe and sound) -- but you won't be able to access them until the servers are back online.

Yes, the wallet app on the phone just signs transactions and submits them to the server. No private keys are transferred.

That is actually the best method in my opinion. I am talking about a phone that gets regular updates from Google and has no trojan infested "Games" installed. And it always stays off in the drawer.

I have problem with Windows wallet, using bitcoinz-windows-wallet_1.1.0.4_win64
Wallet starts and attempt to connect. I see there 1 connection and it's dropping to 0 after some secounds.
I tried removing directory with blocks, it worked but only for first run after doing it. It started to synchronize, connected to 8 peers.
Took like 1-2 hours to make it 100%, then imported private key, seem it worked fine.
However after closing wallet client, problem with dropping connection happend again.
Every time I want to access wallet, I have to resync from zero. It worked fine for 1 month. Any hints ?

I tried Ninja pickle's miner... unfortunately it didn't recognize the GPUs on the rig I was testing it on which has some AMDs.

We actually have a new version coming out in the next few days which will support AMD gpus.

Thanks...good to know. didn't try it on my nvidia rigs.

Or he could do a clean windows installment, free from malware, Trojan, keylogger infections. Or he could keep what he has now and install a dual boot second windows installation on his HDD/SSD.

In order to get rid of the EOF error pretty slick, you`ll have to run "zcash.exe -reindex".
IF, you have the time, you can leave it open to re-index the whole blockchain.
IF, you like to see a nice GUI, leave it open for a few minutes, close the CLI, reopen your zcash_wallet.bat and you`ll notice that the sync will be at ~60%.
Leave the GUI open, wallet will sync up to 100% and you`ll get pass the error in no time with minimum actions.
