Exactly this. If suprnova had a donation option, I'd mine there. I trust the pool and the pool owner and am not worried at all about a 51% issue there. Seems though that if all the hash power is going to be focused there, it might mean we just have to mine there too and manually donate to the devs in other ways.

So far it looks like my Nicehash and PCMiNing.xyz experiment worked out very poorly in terms of ROI, and I'd have been better off just mining on suprnova and doing a manual donation, as I said.

About $100 invested on a Nicehash contract to bump the pool's hashrate, and we found only one block. So, 8225.87 BitcoinZ mined on PCMiNing.xyz. That's around $22 worth at the current rate. Sad

Compared to about $50 invested in Nicehash to mine on suprnova, and mined around $52 worth of BitcoinZ...

Unless we can get huge numbers to mine on PCMiNing.xyz, it's just not a rational choice to keep putting our mining power there.

i think the same about mining on pcmining.xyz..

and transferred a little btcz to the wallet..

suggestion what if somebody creates a btcz miner and like ewbf certain % goes to the developer , what if we make use of that fee to get us listed on those exchanges that requires payment.

That is briliant. Someone sent email to suprnova about a special fee for development and no response. Then pcmining.xyz introduced that fee but miners are just not joining. This could change things...

Seems like a good idea worth looking into.

The thing is with ewbf mining the div fee can be removed by the miner then the mining software to div fee would be pointless.

Im a miner myself and trust mining pools that pay out smaller pools are harder to make anything from so they leave.

If the community could get the big farms to donate then that would make sense.

About dev fee:

No. Even with --fee 0.0 it still spends about 5% of time mining on developer's pool. You can check them by 'DevFee' string in the log.

Dunno who sent that email to me, but I didn't receive a mail about "special fee for development".

However, I don't think this should be MY (or the pool's) decision, the miners should decide if they want to donate for development or not, i'm just running the pool. I can post a text in the header of the pool with an address of the dev's where donations should/can go to if that would help...

Thank you.

Hi,

Which exchange we are collecting BitcoinZ for donation? Thanks.

The options are
C-CEX for 4 BTC.

and Cryptopia for around 5-6 BTC depending on the exchange rate for the 5200000 DOT they require.

Bittrex has already been notified.
If it was my choice, Id just want to be listed on Bittrex and no other exchange. We really don't want to be involved with any kind of scheme or bad behavior like price manipulation or pumping.
I'm about to release some woocommerce plugin's and shopping cart plugins, wordpress, php, perl plugins for receiving BTCZ as payment. I think that we need to be on a higher traffic exchange so there can be some liquidity. I think its just a question of time. Honestly the price is high for C-CEX and Cryptopia but actually less than some others that I had some correspondence with. One main thing about BitcoinZ is that it is decentralized and has no premine, no ico, no fundraising, no paid development. Only donations. I want to say that I have revised a lot of Equihash pools and BitcoinZ seems to be quite popular. We are seeing 500+ wallet installations a day and counting. BitcoinZ is one of the most profitable coins to mine, @ 397.44$ a day @ 100KSol. (calculated at current price of 0.00000048). Its been quite exponential in the past few weeks. All I can say is, keep spreading the word, everyone is doing great. Let exchanges know by whichever means you feel that it is possible of listing BitcoinZ. I honestly believe that many are watching. Keep up the good work everyone!

I agree. Exchanges will add the coin by themselves if it becomes profitable for them.

I like goals and picked this one. It shows power of what people can do if they unite and make things happen.

Mining on pcmining.xyz, donating and spreading the info about BTCZ is good enough for now.

What are the requirements for getting on Bitfinex or Poloniex?

I've never heard of C-CEX, and Cryptopia is decent but does often suffer from very low liquidity.

What can be done to improve our chances of making it on to Bittrex?

just signed 2khash to suprnova with donation address to help guys running on solar power at the moment

How many watts is your solar power application?

at the moment running .5kw waiting on another grid tie and get some more panels to bringing it up to 1.2kwh little more than what my 2 rigs are pulling per hour
Have 2 @250watt 48.9 volt pannels but i think due to some damnaged cell there not making as much as i would like them to. mite just get some cheap cells and make my own panels

And what's the problem about mining on supernova? Don't get it...

Its not a problem, you mine and get BCTZ.

What we were trying to do is to help BTCZ get listed on other exchanges by donating or mining on pcmining.xyz where the pool owner set up a special fee to donation address in the OP.

Exactly this. If suprnova had a donation option, I'd mine there. I trust the pool and the pool owner and am not worried at all about a 51% issue there. Seems though that if all the hash power is going to be focused there, it might mean we just have to mine there too and manually donate to the devs in other ways.
