Come for a mining round at our new BTCZ dedicated pool!
stratum+tcp://minebitcoinz.hopto.org:3032
*
Reward System: Proportional + Race
*
[Proportional] Meaning: You connect and disconnect whenever you want. When the pool finds a block
you will receive coins proportional to the number of valid-shares you produced for that mining round
+
[Race] Meaning: 1250 gen coins are reserved to the block-finder
Ok!! Then we shall go for next block!!! I’ll donate 500 btcz to the next block finder of this pool!!
Thanks For Your Fruitful Support!
So, we have 1250 gen coins + 500 extra coins to the finder of the fourth block!
Im in! lets do this. Where can i donate?
That's it!!! We are 15 miners (21 workers) on
http://mybitcoinzfreedom.hopto.org:31/workers with a total Hash rate of 17.5 ksol/s !
We need more, join this pool and get 1250 block reward from the pool PLUS 500 BTCZ from me after the block is found!
How do i join this and how do you pay me the bonus?
1250 will be paid by the pool, if you are the block finder, automatically once you receive the other mined coins.
500BTCZ will be send by me and post here the transaction id.
Go find the block and you will find out how!
When i checked yesterday it said 4 blocks found- today it only says 3.... Is there something fishy going on here? Ive been working for 2 days and no payouts.
And about the possibility that a block (number 4) was found, then disappear. Well, this could happen at any pool, with any blockchain. Let me explain why. (This is called Orphan block. And indeed, if you check the "Stats" about the pool, we just had one. Take a look at pool-page about that.)
The bitcoinz blockchain is currently at block 78000. What this means for all pools and miners? It means that all pool in the world are trying to mine block 78001. All miner in the world are trying to put that 1 extra block in the chain.
Sometimes it happens that, a miner in Japan finds the block 78001 at 12:00:00 h , What happens when a block is found? It has to propagate to the whole blockchain network. So all miners around the glob now know that block 78001 was found. Everybody then starts looking for block 78002.
This does not happen instantaneously. There is a time lag needed for this information to propagate.
So, imagine a guy in Argentina has also found block 78001 at 12:00:01 h. In his vision of the blockchain, he is the guy who finds the block. (information about block 78001 found in Japan, had no time to reach him).
So, for a while, the blockchain will have two versions, one propagating block 78001 from Japan-Miner, and another version propagating block 78001 from Argentina-miner.
Which block will stay alive in the end?
Well, the block-chain is set to be the most efficient as possible. So, when this information collide in the network, the block-chain is set to keep the block with the largest list of transactions on it. The largest block-chain always wins.
So, if the block 78001 minded in Argentina happens to be the largest block (with more transactions within it), this block will prevail. And the block-chain version, having the Japan-mined block, will no longer propagate.
So, this Japan-Block number 78001, is an Orphan block.
