How many forks?

BTCZ --  ZHash
BZedge
Liberty Coin
Classic

Still ZCash Core.  BTCZ to ZCash like PigeonCoin to Ravencoin.

Fork, fork and fork until developer team modify core.  Then moonshot.

@VandarGR thank you, I wanted to say the same!
I am a member since October and Hold all my money in BitcoinZ!
As long as I live I will take care of our purity and sincerity!
I going to help BitcoinZ with all my efforts!
Its shame BTCZ-PoD that you created a fair coin and schilling and compairing it with untrustfull premined, airdropped dev taxed BZE!
Yes some of our members forked from BTCZ into BZE, but anybody can do. How they did (by shady technics) they became unwelcome and untrustful at BitcoinZ!
BZE isnt belong to BitcoinZ and will Not ever!
We only forked once to stay asic resistant sticking to our whitepaper and how we did, making a new Algorithm from nothing, totally rewritten equihash 144,5 is really awesome!
Thanks to Renuzit and some coder!
BTG and other Zhash algo coins uses it as base but modified versions to make it more difficult for Bitmain asics.
'Zcash fork' never happened. Who ever says that, cant understand the cryptocurrencies at all.
We based before on equihash 200,9 but that doesnt mean we forked from Zcash..
There are three types of forks just to mention:
Soft, Hard, chainsplit! Neither was happened at BitcoinZ ever.
How we changed into Zhash was history writer!
Community stayed at the mainchain and has left empty the fork area with the old coin algorithm alone.
After two weeks of Zhash, Nicholas made BZE on the new chain to prevent 51% attack. Community didnt want to use it ever, just to let it for the ether alone (mineable worthless coin).
Suddenly some of our members and some new gone over by telling for the left, 'they want to improve and lead that new coin'.
Meantime it was premined and airdropped and mostly dumped under C-cex exchange.
However C-cex was on vacation mode, they let to deposit coins and trade. I saw with my eyes hundreds of millions 'BitcoinZ' (old algo =BZE) was on sale and dumped to 0.0000001$. -> near zero difficulty on BZE!
C-cex didnt update to Zhash, so anyone could dump old coins/ BZE under C-cex.
BZE was announced 2,5 month (+2weeks) after Zhash!
Now BZE running a paid corporation structures, with premined, airdropped, scam background.
Totally doesnt belongs to BitcoinZ, unwelcome and untrustful and all of their members too!
Anyone can be a holder of anything, but only trustful people are accepted to be members of BitcoinZ!

Who knows about signature campaigns here?
No signature campaign for BTCz.
If you want to promote BTCz, you have to make for free : BTCz is a real decentralized coin.

If you really love bitcoinz , I strongly believe that you should respect the MASSIVE YES vote outcome of VaultZ and that you should not try to separate the Community with a no-VaultZ chain keeping.

  I would like to add that characterizing the BZE-fork/chain as a fair one , is not true, because this led to a ccex problem which harmed many members and of course this was not a fair project because the announcement was made after about 2,5 months of the fork which offered a time frame for the... "chosen few" (who made all this) in order to be almost alone enjoying mining with ultra low difficulty in order to make easy money by launching a coin with fast-halving rewards in the future.

Your msg was a screaming speculative one which imho is NOT helping bitcoinZ.

wow - Hi Andev.  Your writing style seems to have improved.

ASIC-resistance was a parameter that was introduced by you when you launched the coin.  I'm not sure the game you're playing with that part, as you were known to be concrete in the specs of the coin.

The community has carried everything on its back since you abandoned the project - I'm not sure there is any faith left in your identity.  I still believe completely in the vision of a fairness and clean coin and that continues to be carried out.

To be as fair as possible we built a voting and proposal system, again something that was driven by the community, to make decisions regarding the continued trajectory of the project.

VaultZ is one of the many proposals that has been considered by the community and they voted overwhelmingly in favor of it.  The community has also worked hard in building donation fees into their pools, and that has worked to at least keep BitcoinZ afloat.

A project needs funding to, at a minimum, maintain its infrastructure like the servers than the explorers run, the wallet system, the domains, etc.  VaultZ is the solution to have a volunteer-project self-sustaining.

BitcoinZ has gone through many iterations of people, and it has been hard for those that have always stuck around to deal with it.  Whoever is still around are true believers and are detached from the unnecessary egoism that we've seen wash through BitcoinZ.  Very few have gone the route of dedicating their time as a volunteer, but those that have shouldn't be choked into maintaining the entire infrastructure.  Unfortunately, volunteerism only goes so far with the pool of currently available human specimens.

Thank You @Vandar and @crypt0r3x for your reply to bitcoinz-pod. You both said what I was wanting to say but you did it with much more clarity and eloquence and I am sure there are others here that feel the exact same way. THANK YOU!!!!

Hi All,

I hope you are doing well. I can say that I'm back to life recently.

Thanks All for great support of liberty vision.

I respect zhash algo change. This was huge achievement for the whole cryto community.
Unfortunately it's not recognized as BitcoinZ success.

What do you think about recent hardfork plans (ValutZ)?
Personally I don't like any crypto tax. BTCZ was meant to be volunteers coin.
Tax may centralize coin around that.
If BTCZ community want tax I respect that - BitcoinZ is community coin.
At least we need to keep the no tax chain - we can also rebrand that.
At the end we can have 2 separate coins after hardfork.
Hopefully there will be at least one pool which support no tax chain.

I respect also all fair hard forks from the fair BitcoinZ chain like BZEdge.
I wish you all the best!

I would also look at original chain which is AISCs friendly. It would be nice to have fair ASICs friendly chain.
Are there any folks who want to continue that no tax work?
There are still active nodes, but no mining.
Maybe it time to continue that chain and give it a name like Liberty Coin [LC].
Chain is stopped at 210002 block
For these who want to work on that idea just checkout 1.1.5 version from btcz github repo.
Random active nodes from original chain:
addnode=[2a02:c207:2009:9749::1]:1989
addnode=207.148.8.84:1989
addnode=45.77.5.37:1989
addnode=136.243.5.42:1989
addnode=77.55.212.52:1989
addnode=64.237.50.236:1989
addnode=209.164.5.178:1989
addnode=173.249.11.207:1989
addnode=38.104.225.30:1989
addnode=145.239.254.68:35044
addnode=217.195.251.84:61585
addnode=[2a01:4f8:211:1ea9::2]:43162
addnode=64.237.50.235:48114

Do you have any other ideas?

Good luck!
