I don't know. I think I'm giving up for now. I've added a bunch of nodes to my .conf, set up port forwarding on my router, restarted my wallet lots of times, deleted everything in the %appdata% folder except for .conf and wallet.dat file, and still every time my wallet starts back up, it gets stuck on a block further and further back and never syncs. Don't know what to do at this point. Right now it's stuck at 1341 blocks of 4094, and every time I delete everything in %appdata% except for .conf and wallet.dat, and restart wallet, the number of blocks it gets stuck at gets further and further back. Any more suggestions before I give up?
Don't give up now, keep your wallet open. I get stuck too often now and It's only because of how PoS works since we are still in our early days.
As more users get on board we would no longer have such issues.
try to add
addnode=85.214.95.177
to ur conf
It's worked for me, thanx
I added that node to the existing below and restarted the wallet. Port forwarding set up on my router for all of the ports below, including the rpcport, although don't know that I needed to. Deleted everything in %appdata% except .conf and wallet.dat, restarted wallet, and still no luck. Now it's only downloaded 725 of 4967 blocks and freezes. I've never had these problems before with any other wallet. Maybe this coin's just not for me
